In a press statement, Shakir asserted that Federal Police forces are currently approaching SirgKhana neighborhood in the Old City of Mosul, which is considered to be ISIS' last stronghold in the right bank of Mosul.

Victory over ISIS terrorists is only a matter of time now, Shakir stressed.

He further added that ISIS' morale has plummeted as it has lost 80% of its former territories.

This comes as the offensive launched on 19th of February by US-backed Iraqi forces, supported by Iranian-backed sectarian IMIS Shiite militias, to oust ISIS terrorists from Mosul, their last major stronghold in Iraq.

The presenter said the channel {Free} Iraq, Zain Salim, at the end of the newsletter that it had hoped Bzv Bushra final victory and the full liberation of the conductor on the first day of Eid al - Fitr.

Only 800 meters left to announce victory on ISIS in Mosul – Army

 

 

Federal Police Commander Raed Shakir Jawdat said on Monday only 800 meters are left to announce victory against ISIS terrorist group after the army regains all of the Mosul city.

In a press release, the commander added that the forces had entered Farouk street in the Old City district in the right bank of Mosul.

Earlier, Spokesman of the Joint Operations Command Brigadier General Yahya Rasool said that more than 99 percent of Mosul's right bank has been recaptured from ISIS terrorist group.

OK, so here is a reasonably short list I can think of:

• ISIS nearly plowed under in Mosul. I mean, how many ISIS were there that retook Yarmuk, etc? 10, 20, 50? Surely not 100 so retaking those areas should go real quick. Plus, they likely had to lug (at Toyota pickup) all their weapons, ammo, etc so would run out real quick. Yeah, I'm think all Mosul by end of this week.
• Nominal three minute meeting to schedule and authorize the release of the DFI escrow funds on June 30. Any delays? Doesn't look like it!
• UN pow wow tomorrow. Likely a formality or some ridiculous conditions not influencing the core of the vote and not really impeding anything.
• Last, but not least, the exponential growth in economic interconnectivity Iraq has been engaging in with neighbors and extending to international entities. This, in my opinion, is creating huge pressure to bring the IQD to it's real value.

OK, OK, so no HCL passed and in the Gazette, yet, and other issues like IMIS/Iran/Maliki/etc. But, hey, if the steam roller of economic progress is already rollin' then the rest may get squished into shape one way or the other real quick like!

 

Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, may be some other monkey wrenches in the gear works but our trusty President Donald J. Trump and Mattis (et al) will likely implement their preconceived plans to get things cleared and moving again.

 

Looks like Iran launched a few missiles to hit ISIS targets in Syria recently. Wuz up with that? Testing systems for future targets hostile to Iran? Iran probably has shown and is showing too many cards so any offensive or defensive means will be "neutralized" before or during activation!

ISIS militants are being "killed at a rate they simply cannot sustain" as the coalition forces of Operation Inherent Resolve press forward in Iraq and Syria, the Sun reported on Tuesday.

Major General Rupert Jones revealed the Terrorists cult is being smashed back so quickly they are believed to have lost the ability to coordinate terror attacks.

 

 

One of the deputy commanders of the Combined Joint Task Force revealed the coalition's storming march against ISIS at a briefing at the US Embassy in London.

The task force is a global organisation which is leading the efforts against ISIS in the Middle East.

Major General Jones said their military forces have managed to drive back the terrorists so much the cult's message and appeal has been utterly destroyed.

He said: "What we are doing is exposing the ISIS narrative as the lie that it is."

 

 

Fighting in the Middle East is currently centered around the ISIS strongholds of Raqqa in Syria and Mosul in Iraq.

Raqqa is being surrounded by forces from the coalition as well as the Russians and Syrian government..

Meanwhile, Mosul is locked in a bloody battle with Iraqi forces having to take back the city street by street.

The Brit said: "[ISIS] are under extraordinary pressure.

"When you are under pressure in Raqqa and Mosul, trust me, what you are not doing is sitting there plotting attacks into Europe and elsewhere – you are fighting for your life.

"That is what Daesh is doing right now and that means their ability to plan and direct attacks is very significantly degraded."

He added the flow of foreign fighters has "all but dried up" as the cult is no longer being reinforced from abroad.

Major General Jones said at its peak ISIS was getting 1,500 fighters a month from elsewhere in the world back in January 2015 – but this has been reduced to a "trickle".

Last week, ISIS destroyed the Great Mosque of al-Nuri the leader of the terrorist group Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi addressed his followers for the first time to declare the formation of his so-called state.

BEIRUT, LEBANON (10:45 A.M.) – A heroic Iraqi police officer saved dozens of lives in the Babel Governorate, today, after a would-be suicide bomber attempted to enter a mosque in the Musayeb District.
According to the Iraqi Ministry of Defense, the unnamed police officer hugged the suicide bomber before he could enter the mosque in the Al-Musayeb; this would obstruct the terrorist’s path.
The Ministry of Defense added that the police officer was killed after the suicide bomber detonated his belt – no other casualties were reported.

According to Iraqi activists, the officer was identified as ‘Alaa Al-Janabi, a veteran member of the Babel police force.
