The Iraqiya coalition stated Saturday that its leader Ayad Allawi during a meeting with Ibrahim al-Jaafari on Friday called on the National Alliance (NA) to implement reforms and noted that there is no need for new dialogue

The only good thing about this is.... Allawi is calling on the National Alliance to implement the reforms. Of course they don't want to negotiate with Maliki again, as he has already agreed long ago.

Hopefully the National Alliance has enough power to implement what has already been agreed on. With or without Maliki. :cigar:

NA must implement reforms and there is no need for new dialogue, says Iraqiya

21/07/2012 17:36

ERBIL, July 21 (AKnews) - The Iraqiya coalition stated Saturday that its leader Ayad Allawi during a meeting with Ibrahim al-Jaafari on Friday called on the National Alliance (NA) to implement reforms and noted that there is no need for new dialogue.

Late on Friday Jaafari held talks with Allawi about the points of reform of Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki's government.

A statement quoted Allawi as saying that his coalition is "looking with opened mentality towards the initiative of the NA to conduct reforms."

The reforms must be implemented according to the "political reform document approved by the Council of Representatives and Erbil conventions. Their implementation is the specialty of the NA which is in power and must implement the planned reforms."

Allawi also assured that "the allied blocs in Erbil - Najaf are continuing their democratic and constitutional efforts to ensure the achievement of democracy."

Iraqiya and the Kurdish Blocs Coalition are seeking to withdraw confidence from PM Maliki while the Sadrist Movement recently withdrew its support for the two blocs to withdraw confidence from Maliki.
