...BL

....ps...just wanted to add this comment also, most know ive been in this investment for years, and years ago there was a lot of talk about the big screens going up, and even back then, before i had removed myself from the rumor mill suposed intel that never came true on that roller coaster ride, there were some articles even back then (3-5 years ago) about how iraq wanted to put up big screen tv's to be a public service for announcements, soccer games things like that, and the gurus went stupid all over the net with these screens will bring on the rv bla bla, some even went as far as photo shopping what looked to be like a screen u might see at a drive in movie, then we didnt hear any thing else about them for a few years until now, now we can actually see what they really do look like which is nothing like the photo shop pics some jerks made and used for what ever reason they did even back then, the things im tryin to show here is, this time its different, this time they really do exist and there for many reasons, and the 2 articles ive shown basically tell u what they are for, public service announcments, learning events, and yes even soccer games im sure, as well as things like martyrs and there familys, they are basically for the people, so they can find out announcements, things they need to know as well as showing respect for people who's innocent blood was spilled and lives lost, martyrs ...important people and events these things are important to iraqis and there culture, and by putting up these big screens in strategic locations all over the big provinces will spread whatever announcements and events quickly all imo, but these screens are the truth and u can click the link i provided and u can see 1 thats already up ...hope this helps...BondLady

They must REALLY wanna see Madonna's 1/2 time extravaganza!!!

Seriously, though, if they're going to broadcast the trials & tribulations and re-live the horrors of victims and families, (as I read in the original article) wouldn't one think it could open old wounds and lead to more violence...? <_<

Elixirbaby-thanks so much for bringing this over, and please tell BondLady that I appreciate all she does for us. There were those that kept questioning the screens last night when they were mentioned, and brought up that this same thing had been in articles a while back. As usual, BondLady is true to form and proves us that what she brings us is news from Iraq, not guru garbage. Thanks for your time Elixirbaby!

You too K98nights! Appreciate what you bring to us!

I think its a bit naive to believe that picture of the big screen is real. Looks photo shopped to me.

Why cant they just watch the broadcast on their own tv or a tv in a bar or somewhere. More pumping imo

What? Are you kidding!

I would assume that their TV's run off of electricity in Iraq as well as they do here in America Graciepoo. I was just wondering if you ever actually posted a positive comment on anything? Just wondering......

No...I have never seen graciepoo post a positive comment...

I always wondered why you are always so negative. Well, now I know. You know nothing about Iraq, or you would know that electricity is only available for a few hours a day, and many people are so poor that there is no need for electricity anyway. And Muslims don't drink, so I think there are probably very few bars.

Thanks for the confirmation that you know nothing. I feel a lot better about you now. Cheers.

I pulled the image into photoshop and if that screen was added it was done by someone VERY good at combining images. The pixels are consistent across the entire image.

You rock! B)

Hard to believe you wasted your time. Negativity is just not worth the effort.

On another note I enjoy reading your posts. :)

Maybe a little too late, but I did the same and analyzed the image in Photoshop also, and there is no pixel issues to say it ain't so, and it also includes that scaffold parked next to it. In all reality, who'd thought to put the scaffold in if it were fake. The detail around the scaffold is perfect also.

That was an awfully bold and a bad statement.

Thanks Elixirbaby, and k98nights
