Hello PattyAngel...You're absolutely right in that I was indeed feeling kind of lost without the internet....The good part is I went back to reading  books which is a great thing....

 

Truly... I do not want to get the fireworks working...( matter of fact fireworks even scare me a bit...)..I try and report articles which ( rightly or wrongly) I deem of some interest...Then it's up to the reader to form his / her own opinion...Obviously...That's the way it should be, I believe....

Welcome back Um. I was going to tease a tiny bit but Texstorm did the best already. :)  Also, it seems you had a epiphany of some sort while the internet was down. Stick with that revelation,  avoid people and places that would drag you back to the old person. I am glad to hear that you are alive and well. How is the recovery from the earth quake damage going? Bonicera from your DV familia.

Thank you NYK...You mean the latest earhquake ( Isle of Ischia, near Naples)? thank God there  were only 2 dead ( sad to say "only" I know) and some injured...Problem there ( like most of the South) it's the bad practice in construction...using bad material and often or most of the time building where it's prohibited to...But that's Italy ( at least a big part of it)

 

Then there's still a lot to do in regards to the central Italy quake  (happened exactly 1 yr ago, on 24 Aug. 2016)..Again the country's bureaucracy is showing its worst in getting things started, getting the funds out, etc....Sad
