Obama Set To Hit Campaign Trail As Democrats Champion ‘Only & Last Hope’

Obama is hitting the campaign trail in hopes of saving his party.

Desperate times call for desperate measures, and it appears that the Democratic party may, in fact, be at the end of their ropes. With a Republican in the White House, they are losing a grip in many races all across the country. The party is grasping at anything they can think of to bring back the Democratic voters, and this even includes putting former President Obama on the campaign trail. In a very unusual move, Barack Obama will be fighting full force this fall via a heated race in Virginia.

Moves like this are often seen as a way to “jump the shark” and make a final push to save something that appears hopeless. Using Obama as a face of what some remember as a stronger Democratic party is playing on nostalgia as a smoke screen. Quite simply, Obama seems to be a last ditch effort to recover from more losses than the group wants to discuss. According to a report about the choice to send Obama out to pound the pavement:

“Obama is expected to campaign for Virginia Lt. Gov. Ralph Northam, a rare decision for a former president. The decision shows that Democrats appear helpless without Obama, hoping that he will help them recapture the magic.

 

Northam has tried to nationalize the race by positioning himself as an anti-Trump Democrat.

 

 

“I’ve been listening carefully to Donald Trump, and I think he’s a narcissistic maniac,” Northam said in his campaign ads during the primaries.”

While Northam is currently serving the people of Virginia, many are not happy with his efforts. He has become well-known for simply skipping meetings and not doing his job. It makes sense that this type of candidate may need the help of a bigger face of the Democratic party like Obama.

Citizens of Virginia have become so enraged by Northam not attending important meetings they have created a website that tracks his “no-shows.” During his term, “no-show” Northam has:

 

“…skipped more than half of the meetings of the Virginia Economic Development Partnership.

…never attended a meeting of the Secure Commonwealth Panel.

…never attended a meeting of the Council on Virginia’s Future.

…skipped at least two of the five meetings of the Virginia Military Advisory Council.”

 

 

Northam is hopeful voters enjoy his wholesome photos and ignore his track record.

The listed website contains well over 20 meetings that Northam has just ignored. It seems unrealistic for someone who isn’t doing his current job to expect to be elected to a higher position. There is a disconnect between his duties and his actions. This does not seem to fall into line with his overly hopeful campaign statements:

“Eastern shore native, Virginia Military Institute graduate, Army veteran, and pediatric neurologist, Lieutenant Governor Ralph Northam is running for governor to build on Virginia’s economic progress and defend our values against those who want to take us back.”

As we look at his track record of not attending critical meetings, it does appear to make sense that is was time to bring in a distraction to aid in the vote. Obama is of course much more likable than someone who doesn’t show up for work. It is not clear if voters will see passed this tactic before it is too late.

Even when he does not make it to meetings as many expect, Northam does seem to hit each major speaking point as far as what he supports. He wants citizens of Virginia to see him as being a saving grace for the state. According to his bio:

 

 

“As a State Senator from 2008-2013, Ralph scored numerous major legislative accomplishments, including the prohibition on smoking in restaurants, protecting young athletes who have sustained concussions, improving the health of the Chesapeake Bay, and shielding our first responders from communicable diseases.

Elected Lieutenant Governor on November 5, 2013, Ralph’s top priorities are economic development, strengthening early childhood education, implementing meaningful mental health reform, protecting women’s health care access, and carefully stewarding the Commonwealth’s environmental resources.”

In an ideal world, the experiences of Northam add up to enough to win the election. The fact that there are already issues with his lack of care relating to attending meetings is a huge red flag. He is not the candidate members of the Democratic party hope Obama can manipulate voters into believing he is. In a round about way, the party in banking on the fact that people will follow Obama anywhere. This even includes voting in someone they are not currently happy with in his lesser role.

Looks like Northam constituents are turning against him.  As pattyangel stated in a previous thread "turn the allies against each other" what better place to start, is with the voters.

Bringing Obama on board will just refuel more division.

So true but I'd be remiss if I didn't say this. 

It is natural to want to fight back against those psychotic lefties that will attack and attempt to harm us for winning. I know cause I too have had the same feelings, and still do every day. I find myself struggling against the animalistic nature to,"return fire", all the time. 

This we must never do. We MUST either ignore those morons or respond with LOVE toward them. I know that goes against EVERYTHING that seems natural, BUT IT IS SOMETHING THAT WE MUST DO. 

 

We must do this not solely because it is the right thing to do. We must do this because it is precisely what the Left doesn't want us to do. Think about it, why do you think that people like Shabbs and B/A and Umbertino continually post the things that they do? Does anyone here really think that they are just trying to bring us over to their way of thinking? To believe that would be an exercise in ignorance. Rather, they are attempting to rile everyone up. Do they even know that they are doing this? I doubt it because," we fight not against flesh and blood, but against powers and principalities". 

Does the LAME STREAM MEDIA know that they are attempting to create a civil war in America? At this point it really doesn't matter, thought I doubt that they do. But one thing that I do believe is that people like Obutthead and the Hilldabeast DO KNOW what they are doing and that they do want America to fall into complete civil war. Thus ,"FUNDAMENTALLY CHANGING AMERICA",  forever. 

And that was what Obutthead told eveyone he wanted to do.

I agree with your statement above.  Danger is in our faces unlike ever before.  Endorsing a political party is minor in comparison to the spiritual changes that is to come.  I would ask that every Christian, petition the Holy Spirit to speak to your hearts, the understanding that is needed to stand for God.  This nation's government and laws has brought this nation to a moral collapse.  We must rid it of all the oligarchy that has literally contradicted our way of life. They created laws of treason against the United States Constitution, broken oaths and so much more, the list is endless.

We are not protected by mans armaments.  But only by the powerful weapon of prayer.  The faith community need to rise up, strengthen their faith and trust in Jesus for what is ahead.  We stood strong in getting Trump in office, we must stay strong, we must remain vigilant. 

 

LGD, you're absolutely correct in "Pray for them, Love them or Ignore them," I would add, those who are in between evil and good realms,we must be forgiving.  As Christ forgave us for our sins.  It's hard to do, but with our heighten faith, it becomes less of a struggle. 

Strengthen our faith community, our youth, the lost, the lonely.

UBUD, Indonesia (AFP) - Barack Obama has kicked off a 10-day family holiday in Indonesia that will take in Bali and Jakarta, the city where he spent part of his childhood and his family will see the school were in his early years he was schooled in Islam, officials said on Saturday (June 24).

The casually dressed former president arrived in the resort island of Bali with his wife Michelle and their two daughters (who wore the prescribed burkas - but in designer colors), a local military commander said. He and his family will attend services at the local mosque in order to return to his roots, his spokesman said. Female Secret Service agents who are female are also required to wear burkas in order to comply with local customs.

"They arrived late last night and went straight to the hotel in Ubud," a local military commander, I Gede Widiyana, told AFP.

Obama woke up early, prayed to Mecca and did some exercise in the lush green riverside resort, Widiyana said, but it was not known how the family would spend their time in the quiet and artsy Ubud area.

Next week, the family is slated to depart for Yogyakarta, where they are expected to visit ancient Borobudur temple. They will spend two days there and will allegedly receive religious instruction before flying to Jakarta.

Obama spent four years until 1970 as a boy in the then sleepy capital of Indonesia after his mother married another Muslim (after being impregnated and subsequently dumped by the African she hooked up with) who is Indonesian. Stanley’s (Obama’s mother) first “husband” was eventually killed while drunk in a car crash in Africa.

 

 

Many Indonesians felt a strong bond with Obama because of his exposure to Indonesia and its Muslim culture, even making him a 2m bronze statue that was placed in his former school.

The statue of “little Barry” - as Obama was known to his Indonesian school friends - depicts the boy Obama dressed in shorts and a T-shirt with a joint in one hand, a Quran in the other and and a butterfly perched on his shoulder.

Indonesia’s foreign ministry said Obama’s visit to holiday in Indonesia came after several invitations from President Joko Widodo. President Widodo finally convinced Obama to visit after it was revealed that the Indonesian Muslim community would pay all expenses of the visit, except for the cost of the Secret Service escort. That bill is expected to be in the neighborhood of 25 million.

While in the capital, Obama will meet the president on June 30 and give a speech at an Indonesian diaspora convention the next day celebrating his Muslims upbringing and proclaming how Islam is destined to rule the world. When the winds of change come “…I will stand with Islam” he is fond of saying.

This is the statue of Barack Obama in Jakarta. Obama lived in Indonesia for 3–4 years when he was a child. AND THAT’S IT. He never became Indonesian citizen, never did something remarkable for Indonesia, yet there are Indonesian who made a statue of him to be placed in this country.

Thank you Yota. I don't see the Quran in his hand, looks to me the butterfly in the hand instead of his shoulder and can't tell if there is a joint or not in the other hand. Am I missing something or just blind this morning?
