See what I mean, Shabs.  I knew the koolaide krew would come to your rescue.  You wanna know why?  Because you pose no threat to their dreams.  You neither advance or *********** realistic thinking.  You're just a cute little bee, buzzing in and out of the flower patch.  Go buzz upstairs.  One buzzer(dontlop) is enough in the tank.

What can I say......I'm popular.     If you'd stop attempting to squash people's dreams.....you might one day, with lots of hard work, become popular as well.  Buzzzzzzzzzzzzz.  (Shabs flitters away.....but not too far)   :eyebrows:

GO RV, and NO BV

Morons, I'm wasting my time conversing with morons.  I think I'll go hit a golf ball.  Maybe I'll run into Caz.  Since we chased him away from the lobster tank, he sure hasn't had much to say.  Probably secretly sold out his dinars, like dontlop, and doesn't want anyone to know he's a dinarian traitor.

p.s., Shabs.  I'm not here to make friends.  I'm here to bring one voice of realistic thinking to an otherwise deluded and brainwashed people.

I'm actually a very amiable person, however, I do get perturbed over people trying to patronize me with meaningless "dog" rants and one-liner quips.  Those things are obvious attempts to minimize my points and deflect the argument because you have NO answers to the things I present.  You may all continue to live in whatever dream world you choose.  That is not my business.  But when you intentionally try to belittle my debate points with childish rubbish, then I have no other option but to retaliate.

Let's see if we can save this topic along classic debate rules...  ;" Why has the CBI kept the rate at 1166 to 1USD!"  OK?

Pro: It has kept that rate BECAUSE there is no reason to change It is the best rate for the Iraqi economy at this time.

Con; No the CBI should improve the rate as export revenues have increased ,balance of payments are positive  so WHY NOT?

NOTE an RD is NOT germane to this debate. It is revenue neutral, There is no gain or loss on either side.

SO why do we not see the rate move to 1164, 1162 etc? It would be minimal impact and reflect the gains?

My opinion for the rate staying at 1166 for so long is due to the Parliment getting control over the CBI several years ago.  Now all changes have to have parlimentary approval before the CBI can move.  That's what killed the Redenomination that was slated to start in September of 20011, but got halted by the FO.  Rigjt now the massive instability of the geopolitical situation will keep the CBI from petitioning the Financial Office for any change off the peg.  The dinar quagmire will continue for years.

goldiegirl,  I can't believe you are on the side of the koolaide kids.  Come over to the winning side.  I'll hold a place for you on the team.

Your imaginary delusional gran pappy stories are no different than my imaginary dog stories

Would you raise the exchange rate if you knew you had a currency buy back scheduled for the future

Why buy them back for more than ya got into them

They aren't obligated to pay a premium

They can raise the rate first to a dollar but they would need 88 trillion dollars to buy all the dinar back

Or if they don't raise the rate they can buy them back for 88 billion dollars

If you were running the cbi what would you do if you wanted to keep your job?

If ya go back a couple years all the dinar was supposed to be gone by December 2010

That's from the cbi

So I'm not sure where you got it starting in 2011

Can you imagine the cbi raising the exchange rate to a dollar with 88 trillion dinars in the m2 when they only got 88 billion in foriegn reserves

They could cover the first 88 billion dinars then they would be in debt 87 trillion 912 billion dollars and all they got is 20 trillion dollars worth of oil in the ground and they got to pay to extract it first

They would be bankrupt with in the first day

They could say hmm let's see were at 3 million barrels a day production and we got 150 billion barrels to extract

We will pay you back over the next 60 years without interest of course

The bank of international settlements would open a new headquarters in Baghdad while everyone runs around chopping each other's heads off

And that's why my dog ate so dam many packs of hotdogs in the last two weeks

He's going crazy trying to figure out the trade deficit it would create

Oh it would be exactly what the world needs and is waiting for ,,,, another bankrupt broke country swimming in debt

Then you are agreeing with me totally.  It is IMPOSSIBLE for the CBI to revalue to a dollar with 83 TRILLION dinar in M2.  The only way they can significantly revalue the dinar is to reduce the M2 througj a three zero lop.  I am constantly astounded that the dimarian community refuses to grasp this simple concept in financial currency procedures.  Of course the main reason they reject this is because it KILLS any chance of them getting rich.  That's why they refuse the obvious .

What do you mean agreeing with you

Everyone knows they can't rv 88 trillion dollars

Except a few gurus

This is not news to dinar vets

It's not news that the cbi is full of crap either

And no one can prove anything either

That's not news

We know what makes sense

We know the history of revaluations and redenominations ,, so that's not news either ,,

I wouldn't worry about repeating yourself constantly what everyone already knows

Most people know the risks and didn't invest a lot of money in this

It's just a wait and see speculation

No way to prove anything for either side of the arguement

So pretend your imaginary gran pappy kicked my imaginary dolg and it was all over a pack of hot dog buns

Start a thread about that

I tell you what , if yo gran pappy ever kicks my dolg agin, I'm gonna turn my dolgies daddy lose on him
