CBI No currency auction 11/6/11

Okay I know we have seen this before, and all I am doing is putting this out there fo information. So please do not tell me this is nothing new because I know that. There was an auction on Thursday, not on Friday because of holy day. None on Saturday and none today.

Thanks Oleman for the post. You never know it could mean something. There are rumors out there that Dr. Shabibi would rather RV immediately following a holiday. Thanks again for posting.

I beleive today is the first day of Eid al-Adha so a lot of businesses will be closed this week.

There are alot of holidays this month and they tend to be slow on the CBI site regardless. Dont read into it, we still need to wait for Parliament to approve some laws before RV.....hopefully soon! As Adam has said, we will hear from him before the CBI posts anything.

I'm not sure maybe they are treating it like their Fridays & Saturdays. They don't update on those days. Either way I hope for the best

Yea seldom do they forget to update or not update on Sundays...being thats their Monday they typically are on it!

Someone posted about 2 weeks ago there will be no currency auctions 11/6- 11/12 I believe it posted that the first auction will be on 11/13

I thought I read somewhere in Iraqi news in the past few days that the holiday ends today Nov. 6th, Sunday ....NOT begins then. I am trying to find where I read that.

Eid al-Adha

Strangely I had that for lunch today or rather ordered that at the resta-rant-raunt-what ever

Its usually served on abed of okie dokie oilman olive Newton john olive oil, with a dash of Popeye Bluto sauce.

Served with some canned spinach on a bed of you have to be kidding me OMG, WTF, IMO, YG2BSM, GR8 BBOFIRE .

We can't even get exit visas to leave. I was just thinking we need more holidays in the states. It's like pulling teeth just to get 2 days in a row.....lol
