Also to speed up the process attach a letter of authorization giving them permission to deduct the yearly online banking fee and you should get your login ID and termporary password shortly thereafter. I agree with the others it would be best to do this on the 13th.

We can't even get exit visas to leave. I was just thinking we need more holidays in the states. It's like pulling teeth just to get 2 days in a row.....lol

I'm not sure maybe they are treating it like their Fridays & Saturdays. They don't update on those days. Either way I hope for the best

I'm with you. I guess I need to get off this thread because I didn't receive an email and these folks are not telling exactly what was in the email. Moving right along.

It took me about 3 weeks to get my account numbers and during this time which was mid Sept to Early Oct they were in the midst of security updates. Once I funded my accounts and sent them an email authorizing them to deduct the online banking fee that took about 24 hours. I was able to transfer funds from my USD to my IQD all in the same day. I don't think it's too late in the game to open one. Compared to people who have had accounts with them for years and me just recently opening an account I love the fact that they are making progress. They are not taking nearly as long as they use to. I find sending emails the beginnig of their week Sundays or Mondays I get a quicker response. I would advise you not to contact them on Thursdays.

You have to email them a letter authorizing them to deduct the 15000 IQD from your account to access online banking. Captjohn Excellent article and Very Encouraging.....but.....it's only one in a long line of similar articles laying out the justification for an RV and essentially calling for it....but it doesn't ever get done! If I hear one more newbie call for everyone to "just be patient", I'm going to puke. Many of us have been on this ride for years and we just want these clowns to get it done...once and for all. Nuff said. All Newbies are not new to the dinar world they just may be new to DVs. I know people who have held their dinar for 7+ years but are not on DV so if they join and say be patient it's not valid because they are new to DV, really?????

Good post and I do agree that we should look at this as a potential loss or gain but to say all the news is about a RD, I'm wondering what else would they talk about a RV? I have said it before the first time you hear about them actually RV'ing in the news will be after it has happened. Look at the president he has made millions of promises about what he was going to do and the opposite has happened. Instead he has gotten a chance to see the world for free and a head full of gray hairs. Now look at the news about the IQD it's all about the RD but I beleive the opposite will happen first. Either way I am good because I didn't invest more than I could stand to lose. As far as the Gurus and there so called dates, fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me!!!

This person took the time to talk about their flaws and how they have allowed the possiblity of the RV to take away from other things they should be focusing on. For me it was a wakeup call because sometimes I find myself reading the updates on the dinar before reading my bible. In no way was this post presented to us in a disrespectful manner or to force their beliefs on someone but it gave you a choice to serve God or idols and as we all know idols are temporary. Thank you Winterhawk because we have to constantly stay focus and prayed up because the devil is always busy.

I have tried and I even went back and forth with Mr Issa when he confirmed my information and cc'd the department that is suppose to open my account but I haven't heared anything else so I decided to open an account with another bank. I guess with the Vets when they opened their account they didn't have all the fees that Warka now charges. Heck they even charge for online banking.

The LOVE of money is the root of all evil. While my husband and I may like money we don't LOVE it. Before this investment in the dinar we have always prayed that no matter what blessings comes our way we will focus more on sharing it with others and only changing ourselves for the better. We have always wanted to stay grounded and humble and by us having that and through prayer in advance it sets the presedence for things to come. I might not always like my husband...lol but I love my husband and wouldn't trade him in for a younger or so-called better model. When we took our vows we meant them. It's a 3 way marriage with the two of us and God so if I was to step out on him I am also stepping out on God. Some may think that this sounds churchy but if people married for the right reasons and bulit upon the right foundation than our divorce rate wouldn't be so high. People will give up on a marriage quicker than a job they hate. In answer to your question it will happen but I'm claiming victory in my marriage in advance.

I was actually in one of the Bank of Baghdad branches a couple weeks ago when someone came in wanting change for 100 bill USD. The bank rep told him he couldn't get change and the guy went off on a tangent about this is suppose to be a bank and that they were horrible. After the guy left out the bank rep stated that they had a problem with him before trying to get change for a counterfeit $100 bill. He said the guy was from Turkey and that they had been having problems with the Turkish and counterfeit USD bills. So I'm actually not surprised about this article. Thanks for the post.

IMO It makes sense for all of the articles to be about RD. I can't fathom them putting an article out about RV. The first time you hear about an article being about RV will be after the RV.

I emailed Warka @ c.accounts@warka-bank-iq.com and cc'd Mr Issa @ ifrd@warka-bank-iq.com on Friday and he replied back today and cc'd the accounts department. It is true that they are closed on Fri & Sat. When I sent the email I attached a color copy of my ID as well as a letter of authorization. I have an account with the Bank of Baghdad but I went into a bank branch and opened up that acccount. I can find out about opening up an account online if you like? Although I am a female and there tends to be a mix up when addressing emails here. There is a Warka bank in Baghdad's Airport but I still wouldn't fly there and it is illegal for us to take IQDs out of Iraq

I have a savings USD & IQD account with the Bank of Baghdad, however I was fortunate enough to be able to go into a branch on base. They have online banking as well and it's free unlike Warka. I can run over to the branch on Sunday and as them questions about opening up an account online if you would like. A lot of military and contractors out here has Warka & Bank of Baghdad accounts.
