as usual, if you can't handle what someone types about you in an internet chat or forum, you should probably not be on a computer.

So here is my take on the matter, for what it is worth. BL had already said her goodbyes in another thread. Yes, the same exact letter. So why create this one? Personally, I think it was for dramatic effect. THAT thread was not getting enough “traffic”. I believe she needed as many people to read it as possible. She knew that one of two things would happen. We would either start tearing into each other, (Mission accomplished) or we would beg her to stay.

I am not denying that she has brought a lot of good stuff to the table, but the fact is that I can’t remember a time when I read one of BL’s articles that I hadn’t seen before, put out by either Sara or Patriotic Party Girl. (JUST to name the ones I can think of right now) She then broke it down for us as she saw it, which whether we agreed or not, doesn’t matter. If you did not UNDERSTAND something that she said, you were pretty much SOL. I love this site……I love to learn…..but sometimes in order to understand something that is in the news; I need to have it explained to me. I would MUCH rather hang my hopes on people that will at least make an attempt to say why they feel the way they do, instead of answering a question with a ton more questions. I truly appreciate those that take the time to try to help me understand all of this, and hope that they stick around. As for BL, I wish you well.

It wasn't just Linda. There were others that were critical when they had no understanding of the situation. Let's see if they stand up to the plate and take some responsibility. We see how Keep responded. Pitiful.

I hope the people than ran BL off are going to step up and provide the same information and analysis that BL did. I think that is fair.

Has anyone been keeping track of how many people you have run off? Everyone is entitled to their views but you tend to belittle them and BASH them into the dirt if they don't believe in your loop. Dam man everyone knows there is a chance that it may loop but pretty sure you don't have to preach it 24/7. Not sure why, if you totally believe that, you would waste your time here.

And BL does have her own site, so you can get her info there or on other sites that post her information.

If anybody here was smart, they would have put an end to this argument a long time ago. BL is a draw here at DV. A commodity. Members waited to get her posts. How short sighted! So now other sites will be frequented to get BL's posts.

You really did not do yourself any favors here. You have a few new members, little yappy dogs, running around commenting on everything with knowledge of nothing except a myopic world and self-righteousness. It will take more than that to fill BL's shoes.

Agreed! Bondlady says she is not a guru... but, she is a leader... she has her own site and people look up to her. There is a responsibility attached to that... and she should accept that... a burden leaders bear.

So, that is why I believe her reaction was weak and shows poor leadership. And, diplomacy with others also goes a long way.

Now, if she rethinks this and comes back, I, along with many many others, I feel... will embrace that whole-heartedly! We don't want our leaders, in any part of life, to fail to lead.

Pick up your ball and come back as a leader... then pick up your mic, and use it!

ok first I agree with Keep on one thing... why leave because one person dissagrees with you? but at the same time I can't stand Keep he is arrogant and a jerk to anyone who thinks differently than him. He think that anyone who doesn't believe that a LOP Is going to happen is an idiot but hides behind a false veil of positive comments like "I hope an RV happens just as much as everyone else"... it sucks that one or two people could run off someone who was providing somewhat of a compass through the articles that just seem to be tedious and redundant. It's better than getting the same RD talk from Keep for every single article that comes out. I just know I end up spending most of my negs on Keep before I can get to anyone else's comments usually... well soooometimes I give him a plus but usually not.

One more thing: I have been criticized for bringing up a members history, and trying to understand the history and what it means, in order to understand a situation and/or a member. Well, if some people knew the history of Bond Lady, or gotten their heads out and up for some air, they would have known that BL was tired, and tired of the bs that had been thrown to her when all she was doing was trying to help us. HELP US! Nobody noticed the tension in the past 10 days?

So you criticized her when she was tired and half way out the door. One criticized her for not answering her own, individual questions. How dare BL not respond to you. Well, Princess, it is not all about you.

If you had just backed off a little. But no. It was all about you.

This is not about articles being posted. Yes, all of the articles have been posted by Sara or Knights, or Chuckles, gonegrey, Kaperoni, or Roger. You don't even get it. Nobody analyzes, except for Kaperoni, like BL does. She catalogues info and has created a library of info. She creates timelines and applies logic and analysis.

So all of us, hundreds, thousands actually, do not have the benefit of ready access to Bond Lady's charitable work. So thank you.

So you are all so smart, we will be looking forward to your analysis daily. That is what BL did for us. Daily. So thank you for stepping up and filling the hole that you dug.

Repectfully Nani, that is not true, nor fair to Keep. He does not necessarily believe a LOP "is going to happen", as you say.... only that he feels that is what is being said, as he interprets it. He then has as much right as the rest of us to declare an optimistic statement as, "I hope an RV happens just as much as everyone else". It's intellectual honesty... Keep is not going to lie to himself... and I, for one, respect that. It's that simple... and we shouldn't parse words here.... people really need to read the statements better, in my opinion... and grasp the true intentions, honestly and fairly... not just because someone's personality rubs you the wrong way...
