Are you hoping for only triple your money?

Recommended Posts

I bring this up because I recently saw someone post that they would be happy with triple their investment. Now I could see if you got in today for like $1000 and then it RVed tomorrow and you got a $2000 return that's great. However my guess is that the majority have been in for a few years at least and if you only hold about 1 to 2 million dinar triple your investment would be between $4500 and $9000... well I would think you could save that amount in the couple years you have been waiting for this thing to pop. I say all that to say that stating that your still positive about this investment and hoping for at least only triple what you put in is not really a positive way of thinking. Am I missing something here? or does this make sense? I'm just saying personally I could just as easily save triple what I put in so I'm hoping for the once in a life time return myself.

People are full of crap. They come across and say they would be happy with that type of return because it seems logical. In normal circumstances to triple your investment in a couple of years would be a nice return. If they are honest with themselves and with us, they are looking for a huge return like the rest of us. Kind of like those that state they will be happy with a dime. Uh huh!

Accidentally gave you a minus Nani. That was supposed to be a plus. This roller coaster ride isn't worth triple the investment. Listening to these gurus gets to be a whip. Sad thing is that it would probably have a much better chance RV'ing if they weren't making ridiculous claims. Im just trying to look at it as I've learned a ton about the middle east, economics, and governments thanks to you info hounds! Thanks!!

I actually WOULD be happy with a dime.

Pretend you had 10 million dinar... that turns into $1,000,000.00... look how many zeros that is! After tax that's about $650,000 off a $10k investment. That could easily buy a very nice house... WITH CASH... nevermind the equity you already have and the fact that you wouldn't have a mortgage. If that doesn't make you happy, nothing will.

I would also be happy with a dime, I would be ecstatic with 30 cents, I will do the happy dance for a day at 86 cents, and I would be floating for a week if over 2 dollars.

At a dime my life will be forever changed. At 30 cents I will have a changed life and take steps to immediately form my non-profit. Higher I will have to work hard not to have too much money lying around collecting dust and making sure the non profit lives forever. :D :D :D

I think that maybe they were really trying to say is triple the amount of dinar they are holding - like if they have 1 mil dinar - that the rate come out at $3+ would give them 3 million USD. I could be wrong, but sometimes people get mixed up when trying to explain exactly what they mean as far as a reval. I would be happy with a $3+ rate - I would be delirious with a $5+ rate.

The triple investment idea comes from the idea of a redenomination with an RV to 3+, which would make 1,000,000 dinar become 1,000 dinar, but with a value of $3+, instead of $0.86.

People saying that they'd be happy with double or triple, do so because they're informed and rational.

Yes rational and careful about asking for something that seems impossible. A Vice President of Goodyear Tires once turned me down for a major advertising contract because he said my dreams were too small. I learned. Now I dream big. That's why I am here.

I say, why waste a good dream on triple dollars when you can dream about millions? Believe it, behave like it's already happening, and see what happens. We can always continue with the life we've created just as it is if the money doesn't roll in. Have the biggest, baddest dream you can imagine -- but know you would also be grateful for less.

Honestly, my husband and I are not as invested as most of you I am sure. We do not have millions of dinar waiting to be cashed in. But with what we have purchased, I am confident that it will make a difference in our finances at some point in our future. We are in Vegas and I do not go to the casinos to gamble (Unless we have out of town visitors LOL). They (the casinos) take my money and do not seem to give alot back. But I know that this is a gamble too with the dinar investment, but somehow the dinar is different. I have seen so many reasons why it should happen. I believe that there is real increase coming.... what exactly that is I do not know. Will we be happy to double our money? Well sure, not great but better than using it as monopoly money. Will we be on cloud nine if it RV's at the 3+?.... oh my goodness! We all love to dream, so might as well dream big! We all need to just speak positive, pray, and enjoy what is to come B) God Bless!

No a dime would not make me happy. You can't retire on $650k. Now if it comes in at a dollar or more that would make me happy. I doubt there are more than 10% of the investors with 10 million or more dinar.

People saying that they'd be happy with double or triple, do so because they're informed and rational.

So Mr Rational, if the dinar goes from 1170 to 585 are you cashing in? That would double your money and you should be totally satisfied to get that return.

Nani... we all want the big return, but some of the models simply imply a return tripling our money... so, we see that as hopefully our worst case scenario. Also, I'm trying to understand your reasoning, comparing "saving" and "investment". You may be able to save that amount over time... but it is still money you had to earn. Our ROI (return on investment), even at doubling or tripling, will still ALWAYS be better, because we didn't have to save for it! Here's to hoping for the big return!!!!

Not sure anyone would be happy with that scenario. Even if you owned 10 million dinar and bought it for $10K, that scenario gives you $30K, after taxes and spread maybe $18K, so a person would not even double their money. I don;t care who you are, whether you are informed, rational, in-touch - when you have been sold on the notion that the dinar could RV to $3 and you could make $3 million off a $1K investment, you are going to be disappointments if it does not go down that way or something like that (no lop). If people say otherwise, they are full of ****.
