It's the job of the president to ensure our national security, and building bridges with the muslim world to prevent more young muslims from being recruited by extremists is a part of that job. After taking out bin Laden I think explaining that we have nothing against Islam as a religion and that our problem is with extremists who want to exploit young muslims to commit mass murder is a reasonable approach.

And I don't see what his racial makeup has to do with anything.

Yes, quite right. I have been hearing so much bad chatter about Obama, and a lot of subtle racial talk about his "heritage" birth, etc. that it was making me sick. I think it's great to have a half-white, half black, half Muslim (heritage) as President. It confuses the bigots and closet racists...so I was baiting them to come out. I suppose I was being weak...sorry.

Yes, this is news. It could be about the RV and a message to Muslims.
