Hey keep I read in another post that insider trading has nothing to do with currency trading and does not apply to it only to securities and options can you clear that up for me as Im not up to date on the laws and rules of all of these situations . Well think of it this way.....in a way its basically a stock.....like if you were a trader on forex and someone spilled the beans that the USD was about to hit rock bottom and you sold ALL your stock of USD so you wouldnt lose any money its no different then what Martha Stewart did....I think whoever told you that was mis informed and was told that by someone maybe to make a believer out of a rumor that was posted lol .....but its just the same...there is no different...Im not sure how else to explain it but I will do some more reading on it and try to give you a better explanation but the bottom line is that it doesnt matter whether its currency or not because in alot of instances currency trading can be seen as stock, securities, options, whatever you wanna call it.....its something that can be manipulated unfairly for profit or to keep from losing money....and simply enough no one would know ahead of time when or where or how much the dinar would revalue anyway.....we can only put the puzzle pieces together to "speculate" on when it would happen lol

In case you didnt comprehend what I was saying I never bashed the guy.....told him the teller who talked to him was misinformed......you should really know what your reading before you jump into a conversation...it will save you trouble in the long run....and no one said I have the only one and truth....that comment wasent even for you it was to someone else so you have no validity in jumping into OUR conversation......and apparently you dont know me because I have contributed more then you know so dont sit there and try to talk like you are above anyone when you obviously have no clue what I am talking about.....thanks!!!

Thanks Fireplug for sharing. This is a simple rumor and no one should be bashing. Keep said nothing wrong either his was not an ugly post but stated his opinion and thought Fireplug was misinformed. Just so you know - Martha Stewart was not convicted of insider-trading nor was she charged with insider-trading. Her crime was conspiracy, obstruction of an agency proceeding, and providing false information to federal investigators.

The only persons that can be convicted of insider-trading are company executives and employees. Martha was given the tip to sell the stock (not in her company, but another one) from her broker who got the info from an insider of ImClone.
