Shafaq News / On Sunday, former Iraqi Army Chief of Staff Othman Al-Ghanimi accused the US-led international coalition of "sowing corruption" in the Iraqi military establishment.

 

In response to a question from a television program presenter about the party that introduced corruption into the Iraqi army, Othman Al-Ghanimi said that it was the “International Coalition,” explaining that “the army in the past did not deal with contractors and companies in food and feeding, as it used to cook with reserves and dry livelihood.” And tender.

 

He continued, that the occupation forces brought the contractors and concluded agreements with them, pointing out that the coalition forces, with their various eastern and western names, were the ones who sowed corruption through the communes, agreements, and deals.

 

Lieutenant General Othman Al-Ghanimi held the position of Iraqi Minister of Interior for the period between 2020 and 2022. Before becoming Minister of Interior, he held the position of Commander of the Eighth Division in the Iraqi Army. He was then appointed Commander of the Middle Euphrates Operations, and in 2014 he was appointed Deputy Chief of Staff of the Iraqi Army, and was appointed shortly after. Chief of Staff of the Iraqi Army.

 

Al-Ghanimi received the High Order of Merit from the United States, and arrived in Britain to serve as the guest of honor at the Royal Military Parade.

Oh Hays Bells, the U.S. had to train you guys so you could defend your backsides. (Okay, my main New Year’s resolution, was to stop saying bad words 🙄). Do you not recall when your illustrious military threw down your weapons and ran from ISIS? You couldn’t defend anything , especially ISIS, for very long without the U.S, and the NATO nations helping you. Get over it and be grateful. IMHO.
