Governor of Nineveh: Sinjar needs governmental and international suppor t

Nineveh Governor Najm Al-Jubouri stressed the need for the Sinjar district for governmental and international support for the reconstruction and return of the displaced, especially after the actual implementation of the agreement to normalize security conditions.

Al-Jubouri said in a press conference attended by Al-Sabah after his meeting with the delegation of the Turkish Agency for Cooperation and Coordination (TIKA): that Nineveh needs effective participation by Turkish companies in the field of reconstruction and construction, indicating that the governorate discussed with the Turkish delegation cooperation in implementing many works and projects.

For his part, Head of the Turkish Agency for Cooperation and Coordination (TIKA) branch in the Middle East, Bulent Korkumaz, drew attention to Turkey's keenness to support Iraq during the reconstruction phase, indicating that the agency has implemented and will provide many projects and support in Iraq and Nineveh, especially during the coming period.
