A DIFFERENT TAKE ON RV

I really like this thread guys. There's a lot of good opinions for both sides However, I do believe that if Obama wanted to get any credit boost for anything that comes out of the GOI and RV it would have had to happen a while ago. It takes time for people to cash in, find a house, start a business, etc.. If it doesn't happen until September then that wouldn't do him any good. JMO

I know some of you will think this is insane, but I have a different take on this. I too believe that the players have already been selected, and are waiting for a certain date to seat offically to the world. There has been several statements, most recent from cnn, allawi about september 10th. I believe this might be the date, and has been there target date all along. Now heres where I think it might be influenced by our current goverment. It would be a great time for the President, as well as the democratic party if it was around this date. When I heard that O'bama might meet with Amid a din a job ( I know I did not spell it right) in September that kinda clicked in my head that he is setting this up. If President O'bama sits with (iran), and perceives to have orchristrated the GOI seating, then he would look to be a strong Foriegn Policy Leader in the eyes of the public. Now once seated, the RV would be announced, and if it was lets say 3.22-3.86, then there would be alot of new millionaires all over the world. Now most people invested would be buying homes, starting new businesses, etc., which in turn would start stimulating the Economy. The first month October, would see a spike everywhere in the US. The second month Nov would be even greater. Maybe this is why O'bama is shoving all these new stimulous bills and healhcare, cause he knows that he can say "See my plan is working". I know this might be out there, but I'm sure he remebers just before the Pesidential Election September he got a big spike when the the Economy took a big dive. McCain could not recover in time. This would help the democratic party the same way. This to me is why the rv has dragged out. If the rv was early like april, it would give the republicans time to fight the point that it was Bush, and the Republican side who delivered this blessing, therefore it would weaken the impact in november for the democratic side. I may be wrong about this, but when I heard bidden talk about Iraq, and how it would be good for us, he was very much against the war, and for him to be smiling from ear to ear, something stinks. If you step back, and think about it, it fits like any other scenario. Most americans have no idea of this investment, so they wont put it together. Maybe biden was sent in July to prime it for O'bama to save the day in September. Ok let the bashing begin!

The democratic party ... particularly Obama has not sat well with me since I work in the Space program and he's new budget plan originally canceled it until the senate came back and said no! Lots of lay-offs here .... sad but true ... the democratic party is in a world of hurt and I'm sure they are behind the delay of the RV so that it's one that'll go down in the books that they originally had planned all along..

Take this into consideration (Just my thoughts...)

There are about 3,000,000 Millionaires in America. That is roughly 1% of our population with a total net worth of $1,000,000 or more. I can't recall who posted or when it was posted but somebody put up some information (rough estimate) as to how many people hold Dinars in America.. I really don't remember exactly how many people but let's say it was around 300k people. That is 10% of the 1% already existing millionaires in America. I would say a 10% increase in millionaires is a significant increase.

It is also my assumption that about 5% of Americans are business owners while the other 95% are employees. The small increase of millionaires could significantly impact jobs and the employed/unemployed. JMO

I agree. This may only be a blip in the fiancial world. Nobody in the main stream talks about it at all, so are they going to talk about how everyone 'should' have bought the dinar when it does happen. It will be very interesting how it plays politically. Bush always said Iraq would pay us for the war. Is this how it's going to happen. Obama has been pusing the 'summer of recovery' and it seems like the American people are not feeling it, so if trillions of dollars go into the government in September because of the dinar will the American people believe it because they do not feel it. It sounds like a great idea, let's see what happens. Go RV.

You are right trucker. This same theory was bantered about before the 2006 mid-terms. It was thought that Bush was going to save the republicans with an RV. We know how that worked out.

There are a lot of interesting thoughts presented in this blog regarding politics and how it effects our investment. It is possible that a little bit of all the ideas are the actual truth. But I believe that what we have seen since the post-election time period is mostly due to the politics of soon-to-be Mr. Maliki. IMO Mr. Maliki has created, participated, cajoled, pushed, manipulated, coerced and excercised every possible political maneuver that came to his mind. That by doing all of this, we are where we are today. I think all the other thoughts presented herein possibly add to the foundation of delay that was created by Mr. Maliki. JMHO.

What I should have written is that I do not want Obama to take credit for the economic improvement that will come as a result of the RV and the expected tax revenues and personal expenditures that will occur as a result. BO, Greid, and Piglosi cannot legitimately take credit for any of this. This is the message we need to deliver to Congressional conservatives and to the TEA Party NOW.

I am sure at this point Obama has billions of Dinar! I am also sure he will do everything in his power to influence anything he can in reguarding the upcoming elections in Nov.! He has been catering to his friends in the middle east sence the day he got elected and now he will use his influence over them to help his self in any way he can!

I'm new to the boards and Adam's site becuase I just blundered into it by accident one night while trying to find another data point. I thought it was just my investment group that had all the wild eyed speculation and unfulfilled predicitons - but I see they are pretty common here to. I like the conspiracy theory - it's easy to believe. But like all of them, it hasn't any hard evidence or facts to back it up. Please understand - I've been in the IQD since a couple months after they came out with the new currency, and it's been so long now that I've lost track of the time (6 or 7 years??). And I have been a news junkie several times during that span. Obsessing on it via email, news sites, and blogs until 2:00 in the morning. Those stretches come and go...I'm "all in" believing it's going to happen soon (for the reason de jour) then it doesn't happen (again), and I fade away from it for ~ 8 months. I'm near to obsessing on it again after joining Adam's site.

I'll keep dreaming (and holding over 30 million IQD). Still want it to happen. The single simple question I've asked from month one has been this: What is the process for enacting the RV and putting the money on Forex, and who (which individual) has final approval? After all these years - there has still been nobody who can answer that. I don't even care about the value or the date. Leave that for the many rumor mongers (all of you know who you are, and you know you have always been wrong). I'd just like to hear someone factually explain the process and the decision authority. Who wants a shot at the title?

Great insight from Westy... I hate to imagine such cynicism among our great leaders but I also know the heart of man....

I wonder what the percentage of dinar holders are libertarians, conservatives or liberals?
