So, here's my story. Went into the bank where I bought my dinar a long time ago. Casually asked if they still bought and sold dinar. The teller says, "Nooooo, we are staying away from that one. That dinar stuff makes me nervous, kind of like when someone wants to talk Amway with you". I just laughed.

It's a huge jump to assume that because Iraq is being called Soverign that they are part of the WTO. Obama called them Sovereign last December. Just saying.

This is a low blow, even for Okie.

How can Iraq "encourage investors" if their currency remains virtually worthless? Why would anybody go there to invest? That's one thing I don't understand. Because a whole lot could be purchased with our money, and labor would be dirt cheap.

Unfortunately I think you are speaking truth. I wish you were wrong, especially when I look at the condition of our country, but I'm afraid you are right on the money. I am planning to hold onto my dinar in an effort to double or triple it. Truthfully, there's still a small spark of hope that ignites occassionally that it just might make me rich. But, deep in my heart, I don't believe in the idea that I will wake up one morning rich. Not trying to rain on anyone's picnic, just sharing my truth.

Sandi, it's amazing how many of us have a similar story of how we acquired our dinar. We were in a hurry to rush home from a camping trip and prayed it wasn't too late. That was over a year ago. LOL I am sceptical that the banks are correct in saying that all the hype, and the theory that we will get rich, is truly a scam. I hope I'm wrong but am pretty sure my instincts are correct. HOWEVER, I do think it's possible for me to triple my investment. If this is the case I will purchase a car outright and thank God everyday for this opportunity. My advice is to check these sites once a week. When I pull away and check occassionally I see the lies more clearly, and more importantly, I enjoy life again. Just my thoughts. God Bless you in your ministry to hurting kids. The rewards you will receive are FAR greater than an RV.

I enjoyed reading your post. However, I hear that the average family in Iraq lives off $60.00 a month. If I've done my math correctly that averages out to be 1.8 trillion for the entire country. They may have a huge wad printed and not being circulated. Of course this isn't counting the billions Maliki has stuffed in his mattress. LOL

I too have taken Financial Peace University classes. Dave Ramsey is wise for sure. He stated directly that he was against investing in the Dinar. It is too risky for him. However, I have a financial advisor that recommends 7% of your portfolio being put into risky investments. This does NOT mean to put 7% of your portfolio into dinar, but in risky investments total. I wouldn't recommend putting all your eggs in this one basket. HOWEVER, gold and silver can drop as fast as it went up. Dave Ramsey looks at the long term growth, over a life time.

Okie, you have no idea how badly I want to believe you. You really put your neck out there, and I'm not sure why. I sincerely hope you're the one that announces the real thing. God Bless.
