So to recap, according to information at hand: Only 170 showed up, barely a quorum. Abadi was a no-show. Didn't see where they questioned the head of the Electoral Commission. They voted on one law and postponed (hard to believe, I know) Law on Paralympics. Then adjourned (due to exhaustion) until next week sometime. This was their 19th meeting since the start of the new year. Again, just my own thoughts, but I believe the public and we are being diverted from what's going on behind the scenes to throw off many who's interest in the Dinar are to capitalize and use any windfall for destructive purposes. And, keep as many speculators guessing that their will be no RV at all.

DV, I often ask myself why in the heck did the people elect these lame arse Politicians to the HOR if they never show up to do the citizens business.  SADR and the Protesters need to go full blast on their politicians and keep full press on all of them until they clearly get the message.   Protesters should conduct sit-ins until majority of the corrupt are brought to justice and economic reforms are completed and as others have stated here on DV lock them in the Parliament Bldg until all is 100% completed.  PM Abadi cannot do all of this on his own so the People Must Rise Up and take their country back.  Just my 2 cents...

I hear ya....but is that not what Sadr is trying to do with the protest in the green zone? or am I just confused. I think we have done the same with our "represenatives" at times too. I am way more involved now that I have ever been. 

I think that by voting in Trump it is our way of taking back our country...it will not happen overnight but I believe it will happen!!!!

Tiger, might be time to take it one step further. Those GOI fools have short memories about the citizens storming their halls a year ago. And since then, have accomplished next to nothing. Sorry, IMO, poopie little laws about sports teams and farming guidelines are NOT going to move the country ahead. They should RIGHT NOW be rushing through laws on taking care of all the rebuilding that will be needed when ISIS is dust. They will talk it to death, take their Ramadan break into summer, and before you know it it's September.
