[bondLady] there's a ton of great articles that have been out all week and the week before, things that i've waited to see in the works for years, article 140, hcl, ch 7, the budget,monetary change...the new money all of it is in the news everyday,

as we watch them all being settled and for iraq even 5 or more years later they are moving at record speed now as they get close to the last day of december 2012 when they have to have so much ready and active for the new year and i guess we should start with some of what has been troubling many over the 25% of the oil profits that were to be distributed to the people before the end of the year,

that had been passed in the 2011 budget and was party to being a law but then again they haven't said they have the hcl passed yet have they? and the part of the hcl that they have been fighting over since 2005 is the profit sharing who gets what and how much,so without passing the hcl 1st how can you distribute the hcl profits to the people? so maliki filed a law suit with the gov, to disburse it in other areas, salaries and retirement money which caused a big rift, but he had to file a suit showing the law suit, if he didn't then he would have been breaking the law, 25% of oil profits to the people law, without the hcl again how can you pass out the parts of the hcl law that has kept the hcl from being passed, everyone feels like they deserve more of the hcl profits than the other so they fight and as i've said never forget what drives them greed and power, the hcl means everything to iraq and the international world of investors without it major players don't want to mess with them, some go ahead but we see what they face daily by doing it

so the hcl will move iraq up in the world big time... the un is also trying to help them solve this....they have also set up a small committee to solve the problems also as way too many mouths have had there say in it for too long, they made it a committee of 5 then made it even smaller cause even in small numbers they couldn't reach the agreement

[bondLady] so the un is slapping them and doing it right before they go up for review to see if they are going to be allowed to come out of ch 7, these are incentive slaps imo to move them forward, same as the disputed areas of article 140 we see daily as barzani and maliki fight daily over and both using the constitution ....each with their interputations of it...for their benefit. but the reality of it is iraq is iraq, kurdistan is with in iraq and they are not their own country.but they don't feel like they should be under iraqs federal law either when it comes to 1 army for iraq which is the iraq army...due to what the kurds endured from saddam they formed their own protection the permerga army.now theres conflicts over the disputed areas and who will guard those and article 140 is tied to the hcl as well as they are all tied to ch 7 too, these things have to be settled and it appears they are being settled with the help of the un and the usa, kurds and bagdad are almost in agreeance per art 140 when they can achieve that then they will be able to achieve the hcl as well and they really are about there imo and not a minute too soon, time flys,player46 found a great article for us yesterday and its posted in the forum too

[bondLady] so they are on many deadlines as we see.pretty big incentive huh? to get things done as that mandate expires in february and if my understanding is correct then it appears there won't be an extention of it, so the rush to achieve much before the end of the year is apparent in a major way, we've seen in many articles ...iraq calling out to all the voters at the un to help get them out of ch 7

and we've seen them doing it every year and every year the un has told them to keep working on it ...they were progressing but they had a ways to go, then we watched as they gave back to kuwait the areas saddam took from them and saw deals made and agreements reached per the rest of kuwaits reasons to keep them under ch 7 as they paid and agreed on the airlines and paid out millons per that issue

and iraq and kuwait both agreed to both share maintenence of the borders of the areas that were disputed and kuwait also agreed to stop diagonally drilling to reach those wells also which were disputed and all of those things were also..except for the airlines....part of article 140

so iraq made great strides to find mia kuwaitis that saddam had killed and buried in mass unmarked graves and even enlisted the red cresent which is like the red cross...to help them find any other remains and they also gave back any of kuwaits property and gold etc all the things all the things saddam stole when he invaded kuwait there archives also so far it appears they are ready to be released from chapter 7

Everyone says that everything coming out of Iraq is either lies, or smoke. You can't believe the Iraqi press, you can't believe the CBI and you can't believe the GOI.

If that's true, then what's the point of spending so much of your life analyzing lies and smoke? I don't think any of us have the secret decoder ring that is going to give us the only useful information that could come out of any of this, which is the date and rate.

As for iraq, imo, the currency will be a reflection of the economy and gdp. the economy will need to be up and running at a high level, to sustain a high revalued rate. I guess im saying, just because ch7 is removed or hcl is done, a high rved rate will take time. but if they delete three zeroes, i could see their economy at its current economic level, holding a redenominated rate of 1-1
