zigmeister
I wonder if there will be a "National Conference or Meeting". My reason being is this so called date to be announced at some point in the near future jargon. It wouldn't surprise me that the Conference was a facade so they could work without the media watching their every move. Just a thought.
truthful1
This meeting or conference will end up being great or being a massive disaster. bringing in all the blocs and parliament members into the same building may turn into a royal rumble style event. To think everyone can agree in peace, goes against history and iraqi characteristics. How, great would it be. if all goes smooth. its troubling they dont have a date yet, after talking of a national conference the last two weeks. it makes me think they still dont have the problems worked out. hopefully, all issues are already resolved before hand and the national conference is just a walkthrough and a photo-op for the world to see. its getting interesting.

Hey truthful, I think that them not setting a date could be the best thing that could have done because every time they set a date they screw it up. This leads me to believe that this time they want it done, finished and agreed upon before they announce the date of the National Meeting that will enable them to announce to the world that they are in full agreement on how to run their country....hence..removal of Chapter VII.. I agree 100% that this could be history in the making but I'm not talking about our possibility of making money, I'm talking about the first time Iraq has been a real free democracy in history,..........no dictators or royal family control...its going to be nice when we all make money off our investments...but to change the way others view them is big.... in my opinion anyway... There's people that say...we've heard this before...there's no way...they been fighting for 4000 thousand years.....their not going to change......and I say lets give them a chance to prove us all wrong.... ps...your right very interesting indeed, I don't care what other people say this is the most exciting time to watch this...I don't want to miss any of it unfold...JMO....no disrespect to you Adam at all by the way...that's this me.. There may be short term hickups, but we should see the ministers seated and an RV within a reasonable time period.. i.e.,beginning of March. zigmeister
They really do want their ducks in a row with Arab Summit upon them. Especially with Mr. Moon showing up for the Summit. They want to shine like the sun. Hopefully the Three Stooges won't be hired as chefs and it ends up a pie throwing contest.

OldSignalOfficer
I'm not expecting any failure to communicate during this conference (meeting). I'm sure the ministers are already picked at this point and will just be announced at the conference. I don't think there is enough time to just now start the background checks and confirm before the conference. If not a lead-in to the pending RV, it's definitely a step forward in the right direction toward the RV.
cranster
Security ministers... Now that's funny.... It.s been2 years since the last election and they still don,t have security ministers. They didn't happen to mention what decade they are planning on seating those ever elusive security ministers did they... Lol... Another shining example of total Iraqi ineptitude, incompetence, and corruption. Kinda hard to get them seated when they have a dictator that doesn't want them seated cause he wants all the power for himself. I'm so sick of iraq... Will someone just please go burn down the whole country... Thanks Edited February 11, 2012 by cranster
