I'm with MrWhiteWolf... Only the CBI is the source for any revaluation of the currency. Interpreting information from any other source is speculation.

I'm not expecting any failure to communicate during this conference (meeting). I'm sure the ministers are already picked at this point and will just be announced at the conference. I don't think there is enough time to just now start the background checks and confirm before the conference. If not a lead-in to the pending RV, it's definitely a step forward in the right direction toward the RV.

It does seem a little much to have a meeting just to schedule a meeting. With all of the powers in the room, is it possible that something more could be going on? Let's just hope it's something worthwhile.

Obama is looking for a way to move to the middle in an election year. He will look strong in support of business and then have congress veto the plan after the election... If he stays in office. That way he looks like he tried to support business, bu kept taxes coming in for his democratic (socialist) big government. Just another Obama big promise that will never come to fruition.

You have to understand, Iraq receives a lot of money for their oil, petrol dollars (US dollars). They have a lot of US currency, which most of it is in electronic form. They sell this foreign currency in trade for other currencies, even IQD. The speculation has been that the CBI is collecting up the three zero Iraqi dinar by selling US dollars. Shabibi uses the auctions to keep inflation at a lower rate.

This sounds like the US is saying, "How can we help you RV so you are a wealthier nation.". What they aren't saying is, "Can we help you RV so we can get paid back for setting you on the strait and narrow."

As a lifetime member of the NRA, I think they need to allow every adult the right to bear arms. Maybe they will be able to stop some of the violence. Illegal weapons are going to cross the boarder anyway. Why shouldn't the citizens be able to protect themselves?
