Seems there is alot of political discussion posted in many places on this site......should there be one place for all of it....good or bad....positive or negative........put a dis-claimer on it...."not for the thin skinned".......and just let it go.......perhaps no pluses or minuses........no body getting put in a time out for being over expressive.....after all.......look at what our system has become.......4 years ago Obama and Clinton got pretty down and dirty in the process.........and now the Republicans are using the negatives against one another to win these state races.......so.........please vote....and add your thoughts???....Thank you

I agree this is a dinar site, and people are entitled to their opinions on issues other than dinars, but I'm with the group that is sick of seeing 15 RP posts before we can get into the days info on the dinar. I usually pop in and go right to the what's new section and see what's happening for the day (No RV yet). It would be nice if they could be grouped in a different area so anyone not wanting to see them could stay out of that area, kinda like LOP talk which seems to be very slow lately! No + or - would be good to keep peeps from getting ripped for their opinions. To some this is important, I really don't care Adam told me even if my rep got to 0 he promised not to take away my birthday! :lol:

I've said it many times in the past on here... you can't separate money from politics, and vice versa. Nor should they be. They go hand-in-hand, hence the reason politics always comes up in many of our discussions. I welcome it, and believe it is enlightening. Those that shy away from it should simply skip over the context... but I believe it would be a disservice to stifle natural political/economics discussions. Many of us here have learned much about the relationship and dynamics of economic reasoning because of the political injection... frankly, I think more people should be politically involved, educated, savvy... especially at this time in our country's history. It's too important not to realize the relationship...

I say... let the free market of discussion, thoughts and ideas reign. If you can't handle it, simply skip over it.

I agree with you completely. It seems that politics and religion often are brought into threads around here. I really don't care what others think regarding the two. I'm here to learn as a currency speculator and bs with a few on the crazy side.

I'm sure I'll get 50 negs over this post. Oh well, this is not a popularity contest for me. Let's concern ourselves with what is important. That being an RV!

Not that I disagree with you sir, but there are those who believe the RV involves the forces of politics and God (religion). I can't go to a single site out there where the guru isn't telling their sheep that they are "chosen of God" and "highly blessed by God" to become rich as Midas because of this investment. Thankfully DV doesn't have a guru... especially one of those whaccos!

Probably didn't communicate this well originally....we already have alot of political stuff posted on here....some very passionate......why not keep it all in one place....and then for those who would like to avoid it....they can.....and concentrate on the areas they chose to concentrate on!!!!

I disagree with you. There are many threads that are started with important information and turn into political and religious debates. Also, there are some that bring sexuality and the bashing of men into the mix. Why is that? Let's focus on the RV of the IQD.

Anything political on this site in the past has eventually been full of doom and gloom...not that I am not a believer in some of the conspiracy theories out their but it always get turned against the Democratic party. I just believe now more then ever that both parties don't have the best interest in people and are in politics more for the retirement plan.....the good are few and far between.

I'll make a start by saying that I will greatly reduce my Ron Paul related posts from now. It has all been said......I think he's the hope of the world....and there you have it.

I reckon the only political related posts I'll put up or reply to will be to do with campaign progress...no more about how much we all love the man.

At the same time...people who deal with the world of finances, stock markets and FX...they naturally gravitate towards political discussion, as it is so very closely linked to all of the areas we work in.

I do thin this thread is sensible, it even if we had our own PUSA 2012 section....all posts would still show up on the WHATS NEW page......

Best thing to do is....don't go straight to that page. Always click on IRAQ and RV Related News....problem solved.

No, I think that I was the one that did not communicate well. I disagreed with the User that agreed with the User that disagreed with the idea of having a political Forum. (Reminds me of the old "WHO's on first base -- No, WHO's on third base!" -- anyone old enough to remember that skit ??)

I agree as well, and I'm a teacher and minister of Christ. I've found that most of the post worth answering turn into things that cannot be answered in a single thread. Others are filled with as much speculation as the dinar, and very few have the biblical basis to even discuss a topic. Of course I am one of the worst offenders. Reason: I don't know that much about banking, finance, currency investing, and all the other stuff related to this investment. Oh, I have learned a lot about the dinar and the possibilities related to it RVing or RDing or RIing, at least enough information for me. What I do know about is Christ and the Bible. Therefore, I write about what I know. But really this site should be about the dinar.

Political, all sides are highly volatile and extremely subjective and can only see their parties side.

Another thing that should be a no no are the conspiracy articles and philosophical wrangling. Worth nothing concerning this investment. Get rid of everything not related to the dinar.

The dinar when and if it happens has nothing to do with personal opinions re politics . People this election is the most important election of your life time . Do you want socialism or capitalism ... This is a dinar site and I come here to see Dinar news. That being said, some people want to discuss topics other than dinar and we have an Off Topics Discussion forum. Some People there do not want to read political stuff. So either we only discus dinars or we give the political discussions a place of their own. I am not in favor of silencing anyone, especially those with differing ideas from mine. So we should have a politcal section, which I do not plan to frequent. Those that want to may do so, same as watching or not watching a television station you may or may not agree with. You cannot silence ideas, channeling it to the proper place is ok. For these reasons I am in favor of a politcal forum. Make it available for those that want it anyone who doesn't can ignor it.

Why do we need a political forum on an investor site? I may be putting myself out there......but I would think that we all have the ability to interpret media, investigate, and draw our own polititcal views. We are relatively intelligent and would prefer this forum sticks to the topic of dinar investment.
