And the winner by TKO is ….

Sanssouci (crowd roars)

Wheeler took a tremendous beating over the course of several hours…

In the last rounds Wheeler was heard mumbling incoherently “I must save them… It just can’t happen that way… I knew it all along… why won’t anyone listen to me”

Thanks guys that was very entertaining !

I agree..Sanssouci,using both of his screen names, was able to outpost Wheeler by at least a 3 to 1 margin..he was clearly the winner and might hold the record for the most posts on a single thread in 48 hrs.or less...90 plus...remarkable...as for who actually won the debate..I'd call it a draw..

Even if there were $250B in the DFI, it would still never be added to the CBI's reserves. Those funds come from oil sales and are earmarked for gov use only.

I would have to agree with this statement as well. Once we see the ministers seated and release from Ch 7 occurs then this will change however. The ministers being seated will finally kick in their Constitution.

Article 144:

This Constitution shall come into force after the approval of the people thereon in a

general referendum, its publication in the Official Gazette, and the seating of the

government that is formed pursuant to this Constitution.

Once this happens then the oil profits belong to the people as stated in here:

Article 111:

Oil and gas are owned by all the people of Iraq in all the regions and governorates.

Not hard to figure out why they are so slow about seating those ministers and completing the government. As always all you have to do is follow the money.

Forgive what may very well be my ignorance, but wasn't Iraq's constitution ratified in 2005?
