In 1937, the Kingdom of Jordan asked for integration with Iraq because the Government of Jordan had no financial resources to spend on the State and the people. In 1939 Kuwait asked to join Iraq in order to benefit from its service institutions, potable water and the education and health system.

- In 1952, the volume of debt owed by Britain amounted to 50 million dollars. At the time, the Iraqi Foreign Ministry summoned the British ambassador to Baghdad and his sister and demanded that the Iraqi government to pay its debts immediately.

- In 1956, the volume of Iraqi exports of wheat to Britain, France and Italy 3 million tons.

- In 1961, the number of foreign workers was legitimate and illegal 85 thousand workers compared to the population of Iraq at the time and the number of 5 million.

In 1964, the contribution of the private sector to the national industrial and agricultural production increased by 64%

- In 1967, Iraq quickly sent relief aid to the inhabitants of the Emirates Islands, including 4 million cubic meters of potable water, 50,000 tons of flour, 17,000 pieces of clothing and about 5,000 tons of dates.

- In 1968, Iraq exported 200 truckloads of 5 tons of production of Babel factories to Egypt as assistance after a setback in June.

- In 1971, the number of Iraqi tourists in Europe and Lebanon 70 thousand compared to the population at the time of 8.5 million people.

- In 1977, UNESCO stressed that education in Iraq is equivalent to that of Scandinavia and that the Iraqi student is the most accepted student in international universities from third world countries, and called on the world to follow the example of Iraq.

- In 1978, the level of per capita income in Iraq was $ 7 thousand annually, the third in the world after the United States and Britain.
