REMEMBER IT TAKES 2 WEEKS TO BE APPROVED INTO THE AIIB, MAYBE LESS NOW THAT THE DEADLINE RUSH IS OVER.

IF ABADI / IRAQ  APPLIED FOR ENTRY DURING THE IMF MEETING ON THE 19TH, THAT PUTS IT AT MAY 3......... OR FIRST WEEK OF MAY.   :-)

THE G24 (+ IRAQ)  MEMBERS NEED TIME TO EXECUTE THE BACK DOOR/ ROOM DEALS FROM THE MEETING.

Iraq is days behind in their news.

    Boom!

Now wouldn't that be a slap in the face to the U.S. if Iraq joined the AIIB? With the U.S. having their hands in the pockets of Iraq , this will never happen.

Iraq is a soverign nation. It can do as it pleases.

Maybe AIIB will speed along the RV process.

The USA is an anchor tied around Iraq's neck.

The USA is a sovereign nation and it chooses to help out with Iraq and the entire Middle East. How is that being an anchor around Iraq's Neck?

I understand that your entitled to an opinion Luigi but do you have to make it so obvious? By the way, use the spell checker. :twothumbs:

Honestly ask yourself why China, Russia & South Korea are getting most of the drilling rights and infrastructure contracts in Iraq?

Why is the USA being left behind when it comes to investing in Iraq's future?

Maybe, just maybe they don't want or need the good 'ol USA anymore.

I'm not trying to be a smart###. Just looking at the whole picture.

We better get on the stick before Iran & Russia carves up Iraq for themselves. IMO.

The US has already invested billions of dollars into Iraq not to mention blood. Same goes for Afghanistan. The Russians, who continually fund not only Iran, Afghanistan, Syria and other countries with arms and money and supplies have not provided any sort of manpower. China and Russia and the North Koreans (not South Korea) are not our allies.  Drilling rights? We have already have drilling rights and we have a supply of oil. Face it the Iraqi war started by W was not about a displacing a dictator.

I don't believe that the USA has been left behind at all when it comes to investing in Iraq.

If they didn't need the USA why was Albadi here in Washington asking for help?

Russia and it's allies Iran included do not want the US to be involved heavily in Iraq because it puts several armed bases right in their backyard of the countries that they fund. Iran, Afghanistan  and Syria. I'm quite sure that Iran who has sanctions on it from many countries including the USA certainly don't want the presence.

If you think about it, where does IS get there funding? Syria? Iran? and who funds them?.... Russia & China and who funds North Korea? China and Russia.

Watch the price of silver & gold over the next 6 months. China is now in control of global metals pricing not the corrupt USA fixed pricing & manipulation controlled by the Cabal. China setbacks are only temporary.

BS Luigi1 and I refer you to the following post:

http://dinarvets.com/forums/index.php?/topic/201187-economist-gold-prices-in-iraq-linked-the-basis-of-the-global-stock-markets/

Here is a Gold Price Chart covering the past 10 years. Although it has decreased from it's peak in late 2011 it is still way above what it was in 2005.

http://www.nasdaq.co...x?timeframe=10y   - Gold

http://www.nasdaq.co...x?timeframe=10y  -Silver

http://www.nasdaq.co...x?timeframe=10y  - Platinum

http://www.nasdaq.co...x?timeframe=10y  -Oil

http://www.nasdaq.co...x?timeframe=10y  -Natural Gas

Will the price of gold rise again and become attractive to investors? If you are heavily invested, you hope so.

Same with oil prices.

Same with silver prices.

Same with platinum prices.

Natural Gas prices.

Keep in mind, Iraq's largest assets are Gold, Silver, Platinum, Oil and Natural Gas.

Only Natural Gas is below it's 10 year rate.

I believe after this RV the global markets will pick up placing demands on precious resources especially silver as it is used in just about everything manufacured from autos to TVs. I'm invested in silver as an overall diversity in my planning. Yes I'm hoping, betting comodities will go up. Consumer spending alone will place demands on perto. Yes, comodities are down but for how long? We all know that petro pricing is like a roler coaster. Not knocking you...IMO.
