The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank economy Hossam Obaid Ali to the need for the project of deleting three zeros from the Iraqi currency, which would increase the Iraqi dinar exchange rate, confirming that it is no cause to raise inflation. Obaid said in a statement to the Agency (news) on Wednesday: to direct the draft work deleting three zeros from the currency is a good move by the central bank even if it is to move to work out, will make the dinar value of purchasing international. and ruled on the cause the project to delete the zeros height of the inflation rate, but lead to a revaluation of the dinar against international currencies. Excellent article and Very Encouraging.....but.....it's only one in a long line of similar articles laying out the justification for an RV and essentially calling for it....but it doesn't ever get done! If I hear one more newbie call for everyone to "just be patient", I'm going to puke. Many of us have been on this ride for years and we just want these clowns to get it done...once and for all. Nuff said.

That is my favorite part... :)

Aspirations to become internationally traded is great news in my opinion. Whether you believe in the best or worst of the future of the IQD, that statement alone should mean we shouldn't have a probelm exchanging at the banks even if the worst case scenario plays out.

However, deleting the zeros could ultimately mean what we don't want to hear.. Sort of an issue we're torn against.. Leave it in regular news for inflation talk, or transfer it to the LOP section for LOP talk.

I say, Lopsters should just re-post the article in the Lop-section.. For that type of discussion...

All Newbies are not new to the dinar world they just may be new to DVs. I know people who have held their dinar for 7+ years but are not on DV so if they join and say be patient it's not valid because they are new to DV, really?????

Don't puke. Many of us newbies have been lurking in the shadows for years. I just registered because I finally had something to say. Everyone is always quick to jump on the newbies and if that weren't the case maybe they would register & speak up sooner. As for being patient...I'm tired of researching, waiting & anticipating just RV already...AT ANY RATE!!!!

Do you think its more valuable to openly discuss this topic (knowing that alot of good and informative discussions come from it where everyone learns something) or shun it away to the LOP section to be talked about, knowing that alot of people wont read it simply because of the forum its in, and the information brought foward by members is not brought to the masses attention as maybe it should?
