I have been on this site for quite a while know and seen alot of dates and rates comes and go. I for one am getting tired of the of all the dates that have come and gone. Does anybody out there have any solid, conclusive information about what is going on in Iraq? I would like to see some information that really stands the test of time so to speak.

Here's my take on what's going on in Iraq. There in the process of redenomination most likely. Articles come out and say it everyday. They are in the "educate the citizens" stage of it. Most likely were hoping to double our investment. Maybe better. But based on the information we have seen out of Iraq that has been the only issue discussed.

Yes, see Greta's interview with Senator John McCain. You could see all over his face that he knew and that he lied to Greta.

I thought it was very interesting. Was surprised to find out WE pay the contractors not Iraq. Another Guru BS story from a few weeks back. But John McCain danced around that one a bit.

If that is what's coming out of Iraq, then the opposite is what will occur.

Bambino we can only hope the opposite occurs. They obviously don't want speculators. However if they were to RD they would need to educate their citizens. Hopefully that's not what they're doing with all the articles clearly referring to a redenomination.

Well there have been more then a couple of people on here stationed in Iraq saying that the citizens are hearing they will be dropping the zeros and they are treating their bills like the zeros are already gone.....I have no way of confirming this of course but it sounds like they have been telling the people something for sometime now....starting an education compaign of sorts but of course the real detailed information wouldnt come out until they either pass or vote down the bill in front of parliment now

Lets see now how many times have I heard that question, DOES ANYBODY REALLY KNOW?????Of course not, the GOI doesn't even know nor does Shabibi know the answer to that question. :lol::lol::lol:Somebody somewhere knows the answer to that all famous question, Does anybody really know ???????

Right....all the discussion of the 1000% RV to bring their money back close to where it was --- you need a special subscription....

Looking for all the RV articles and news?

There aren't any. Otherwise it would give away the store...just be patient and understand global politics. They didn't print these hi-tech bills so they would be worthless.

No one knows. However, it doesn't matter what the nature of your post, we always wind up discussing whether it is a LOP or and RD, RV. Then you have all the "in the know" people jumping in an tell us exactly what will happen and that we will make very little or a great deal. We all feel better that we have made sure everyone knows "the truth" about this investment . . . at least our truth. That being said, we will quickly state that no one knows. It's all part of the ride; entertainment while we are waiting, nothing more and nothing less. Oh, one thing it does accomplish, we are learning about Iraq, investments, and taxes. Good reading and have a great and wonderful life.

Just salivating over that RD, huh? Pretty exciting, right? A few thousand dollars for years of waiting...I guess that's why you're here. To snag that big investment. Even a new currency perhaps, we lose out altogether. Zeroed out.

We were talking about this at lunch today at work. This same topic. My conclusion is is that I have always been a gambler. Never feared being down to my last ten dollar bill in a casino with no gas to get back to Az. and thought what the hell why not and I have always hit ...When this "investment " came to me I read alot of different posts at alot of different sites and thought What the hell why not...so I "invested " what I could afford ...or I Gambled what I could afford ....If it hits with an RV great if it RDs not so great...But what the Hell,, You see for me Iam only hoping to make enough off this Gamble to secure my Home....and if it RVs low then to get solvent on my Home....One thing that cant be lost in all this is some of the greatest, funny , intelligent, opinionated, compassionate people.... that I look forward to reading daily . "we are a group that normally would not mix"...thanks all.. Chris...

Yes I cant wait for a RD so that I might lose some money!! I mean thats why we are all in this right? Isent that the gameplan? To hope for a RD so that we all could lose some money??
