Lol, how did I miss this thread!!! We can put together something fabulous in LV....but I vote a cruise (all ships have casinos, clubs and shows which is all Vegas is)!

I agree. I've never been on a cruise before and I'd love to do one but being raised on a farm back in the 50's and 60's, I learned from my Grandpa, "Never count the chicks before they hatch." (Found out later he's not the one that came up with that saying) :blink: Anyway, you get my point.

I agree, a cruise would be wonderful. We don't have to tell people we're rich, show off, or anything like that. Special clubs have cruises all the time. We could go as our own club.....60 days post RV would be wonderful....don't know if that would be time enough to set up a cruise for us though. Anyway, I would love to meet you all....and we'd have a blast too. Once the IQD RVs...then we can work on a cruise and announce it in the VIP club. Some special entertainment would be great too. We shall see........GO RV !!!

At some time during my journey through this forum there was some talk some months ago about a post RV gathering of Dinarians perhaps on a cruise ship. A cruise ship is probably a great idea given the potential size of the group that may choose to participate. While this forum will continue post RV and it's a great place for Dinarians to stay connected and support each other post RV, it would also be nice to meet all those who have participated on this exciting, frustrating, and educational ride!

It feels like we are finally coming into the platform and can dismount this ride! Is anyone interested in gathering 30-60 days post RV?

I'd be up for that! A cruise sounds great, and even if it just pulls even with the dollar, I will be doing fine. There was some talk on earlier posts that it might be tied to the british pound instead. If that is the case, we might be doing even better.

awesome, but i sitll hope that you prepare for the quite possible based on the way things are going and never loose touch with your survival instinct because when it comes down to it, nothing will last if you don't protect it, so all that candy dandy stuff is nice, but what good will it do for you and your family(if u have one) if those memories are overthrown my a current status of "doom and gloom"

Personaly I like the idea of a Cruise and always have a Great time Cruising and meeting alot of Fantastic people. Nevertheless I really love Las Vegas the night life, fancy shows, Gambling, Delicious Food, Beautiful Hotels, Gambling, many Attractions and of course the Gambling oh and by the way did I mention the Gambling? Perhaps someone could look into a Cruise Line that will pick us all up in Vegas and than drop us off in Lake Tahoe or Atlantic City? Wouldn't that be a terrific trip!!! Take Care Everyone and let's RV already...

I would like the idea of a cruise where I could meet so many of the people I have corresponded with. However ... I am, without doubt, an absolute wallflower. I am that one who stands there looking around not wanting to make eye contact. The only way I functuion in large groups is when I am the one,, or one of the ones, giving the lecture or conducting the lesson. Other than that I am stone cold scarred spitless and couldn't possible handle it. NOW if I booked on the same cruise, but not as part of your group, I would have no trouble going from person to person and asking what does the name dinargoodie mean? And let everyone explain to me the dinar. I would most likely never tell them I eas one of them. Silly, isn't it? Yeah ... silly :huh:

5:15 is an awesome song........As for rate........Sure it'd be great but I don't want to get delusional....This emotional rollercoaster got me after 7 plus years

A $0.50 rate would be stunning imho.....
