Totally understand the frustration! The thought of continuing to work & put up with coworkers and office politics keeps me from getting rid of this monopoly money. Most importantly the strong desire to retire my parents is #1.

Transport announces the start of applying the POS electronic payment system at the Ministry's headquarters

The Ministry of Transport announced, on Thursday, the actual implementation of the POS electronic payment system at the Ministry's headquarters and its formations, after signing an agreement with the Arab Gate Company licensed by the Central Bank of Iraq. 

The Director General of the Administrative and Financial Department, Ahmed Khalaf Bunyan, said in a statement received by Al-Maalouma, that "the application of this system comes to achieve quality standards in applying the latest electronic systems, according to the study, plans and programs set by the ministry to convert to the electronic payment process and keep pace with development in this field."

He added, "The terms of this agreement were prepared by the Central Bank uniformly for all state institutions, and the ministry is keen to implement them within the time limit specified by the Council of Ministers." Ended/25 h

He continued, "The terms of this agreement were prepared by the Central Bank uniformly for all state institutions," noting that "the ministry is keen to implement it within the time limit specified by the Council of Ministers."

{Local: Al Furat News} The management of the General Company of Iraqi Airways announced, today, Saturday, the start of the electronic payment service system (POS) in the company's offices for booking and issuing travel tickets in the capital, Baghdad, which are the offices of Al-Saadoun, Al-Salihiya and Al-Rashid.
 

A statement of the company, of which {Euphrates News} received a copy, stated that: "It was provided with the required equipment and trained a cadre of the company's staff on methods of using them to achieve a smooth workflow."

The company's general manager, Manaf Abdel Moneim Uriel, said, "Based on the directives of the Minister of Transport, Mr. Razzaq Muhibis Al-Saadawi, and in line with government directives, the (POS) service has been approved in the offices of Al-Saadoun, Al-Salihiya and Al-Rasheed, and it is scheduled to be activated in the other offices of the company, as it is one of the modern methods in financial transactions, as it will allow The traveler has the ability to pay by local and international electronic payment cards (visa, master card, paypal).

It is noteworthy that Iraqi Airways had activated this service in most of its foreign offices during the month of November of last year on the sidelines of the visit of His Excellency the Minister of Transport, Mr. Razzaq Muhibis Al-Saadawi, to the company's office in the Egyptian city of Cairo.

Today, Saturday, the management of the General Company for Iraqi Airways announced the start of the electronic payment service (POS) system in the company's offices for booking and issuing travel tickets in the capital, Baghdad.

 

A statement from the company's management, received by (Baghdad Today), said, "This service was approved in the offices of (Al-Saadoun, Al-Salihiya and Al-Rasheed), and it was provided with the required equipment and trained a cadre of the company's staff on ways to use it to achieve a smooth workflow."

The statement added, "It is scheduled to be activated in the company's other offices, as it is one of the modern methods of financial transactions, as it will allow the traveler the ability to pay by local and international electronic payment cards (visa, master card, paypal)."

It is noteworthy that Iraqi Airways had done this service in most of its foreign offices during the month of November of last year.

The Ministry of Industry and Minerals said it has started implementing the electronic collection system in all its formations.

The Ministry of Industry said that the electronic collection system has been activated in all its formations through the implementation of the electronic payment mechanism (POS)

According to an industry statement seen by "Ultra Iraq", the ministry has "activated electronic payment to facilitate

procedures and improve the level of services provided, and for this he activated the electronic collection system in all formations of the ministry through the implementation of the electronic payment mechanism (POS) in collecting funds, especially fees for services provided by the General Directorate of Industrial Development and the Trademark Department for industrialists, factory owners and companies, and for all cards approved by the Central Bank of Iraq (MasterCard and Visa)."

This came "in order to shift to electronic transactions, collect money through modern electronic systems, facilitate procedures and provide the best services."

 

 

In early May, the pilot launch of electronic collection in the Karkh I and Rusafa I and tax education was announced.

Earlier, Finance Minister Taif Sami directed all the ministry's banks to provide all the necessary facilities for the accreditation of POS vending machines in state institutions and the private sector.

The ministry said that the devices are granted "free of charge and at zero percent interest for a period of 6 months, in addition to providing technical and logistical support and various software supporting the project, as well as training cadres working in this field."

The package of facilities for the ministry comes within the framework of the Finance's vision to "acquire electronic payment devices (POS) instead of cash and to extend the experience to include various economic sectors in Iraq, which is hoped to be launched on June 1, 2023."

Today, Thursday, Minister of Communications Hiyam Al-Yasiri announced the launch of the electronic payment service (Pos) project in the ministry and its formations.

And the ministry stated, in a statement received by "Al-Iqtisad News", that "in implementation of the Prime Minister's directives supporting simplifying procedures, ensuring transparency of work and fighting corruption, the Minister of Communications, Hayam Al-Yasiri, inaugurated today the electronic payment service (pos) project in the ministry and its subsidiaries," indicating that " The beginning was from the General Post and Savings Company, which collects revenues directly from citizens.

 

The ministry added that it "sought at a rapid and rapid pace to implement this project in Iraq, where work will be carried out using electronic payment devices in all the ministry's joints in Baghdad and the provinces, while maintaining cash payment."

 

She pointed out that "the importance of this project comes as an affirmation of the Ministry's continued efforts to develop the work of its formations by automating services according to the latest international technologies and facilitating bill payment procedures for citizens and the rest of the departments spread throughout Iraq," noting that "the electronic payment devices will limit financial corruption and extortion." It will work to facilitate all cash transactions for citizens, as payments will be collected through Visa and MasterCard cards in a smooth, safe and fast manner.
