Wishful thinking Ron.   The Iranians will always object if it’s not in their favor and result to violence when all seems lost for them.  Sadr just needs to move forward, appoint Kazemi as PM and RV.   It’s that simple.

The Electoral Commission has set, on Thursday, the period for considering appeals by the judiciary, noting that the commission can re-count and hand-count.

Imad Jamil, a member of the media team of the Commission, said in a statement followed by NRT Arabia (November 11, 2021), that "according to the law, the decision on the appeal takes place ten days after the last appeal sent to the judicial authority," noting that "decisions are binding on both parties, whether the applicants Appeals or the Commission".

He explained, "It is not possible to challenge the results of an entire governorate, but it is in electoral districts, especially since the applicants are candidates," noting that "the judiciary can re-count and manually count at the district level, electoral centers or stations."

Jamil added, "The commission's decisions are completely binding on everyone and may not be appealed, because they are part of the Court of Cassation and go to appeal to the commission before the Federal Court, as it is a constitutional court that considers issues of the constitution and does not consider electoral issues and others."

He continued, "An appeal was previously submitted to the election law, which was not taken into consideration, and the House of Representatives voted on it, and it became obligatory to implement."
