Kurdistan Democratic: We will attend the session of parliament today and a row and a unified position

The Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) announced on Saturday (September 8th, 2018) that the Kurds will participate in the extraordinary session of the parliament to be held today.

"The Democratic and the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan agreed on the need to wait for the position of the other parties to form a Kurdish bloc in parliament," said Dobradani on the formation of a Kurdish bloc or coalition in a press statement.

"This will be resolved on September 15," he said, adding that "the Democratic and the National Union met the other parties, hoping to go to Baghdad in a unified Kurdish alliance."

He pointed out that "there are positive signs that the Democratic Union and the Patriotic Union and all other Kurdish parties will attend the session of parliament today and a row and a unified position."

The House of Representatives is scheduled to hold a special session on Saturday to discuss developments in the province of Basra, which is witnessing rapid developments after the burning of the headquarters of political parties and buildings and the headquarters of the Iranian consulate.

Fatah: The president of the age is only allowed to choose the speaker of parliament. The session is unconstitutional

 

 

BAGHDAD / Al-Mustala spokesman Ahmed al-Asadi confirmed on Saturday (September 8th, 2018) that he does not have the right to exercise any other task except to select the speaker of Parliament and perform the constitutional oath, noting that the presence of the construction coalition in today's session will be limited to some members only.

"The first parliament session is still open, especially as the task of the session and the head of the age to perform the constitutional oath and the election of the president and vice presidents and not be allowed to exercise any other task or talk anything else," said al-Asadi said in a statement that followed the " Unconstitutional. "

He added that "in the event attended by the Prime Minister Haider Abadi to the meeting will be attended by some of the coalition to talk about the crisis of services and Basra and highlight the great failure of the government and the Prime Minister and ministers appointed in this file," noting that "the presence of the coalition building will not be fully during session".

The head of the age, Muhammad Ali al-Zini had directed, Friday, the convening of the parliament to discuss the developments in Basra.
