SgtFuryUSCZ
***/// Need to find out in what capacity this guy was with The Finance Dept. At this point could be anything from some personal revenge killing, or as BJinM say's - offin' a witness, to a political statement from angry Iraqis... "RV our currency right now or we'll start killin' one-a-day of ya til' ya do ! "

uncirculd
Employee. ... So Much For Maliki and house arrest. Yeah, I never saw a reliable article on that. Did anyone? You can bet he will exile, escape etc before that happens. He knows good and well that his goose is cooked, but he has bought and still buys influence and/or information from those who still share his dream of being kind of Baghdad. Mainly the co conspirators. If Abadi could just find all his sources of income and nest egg, he could then freeze it and maliki would not even be able to pay his way out of the country. The long he is still breathing and pretending to be a member of the GOI, the longer it will take for reforms and/or Iraqi democracy. And until the folks have honest earned money and/or oil money, they will continue to join militias and do Iran's bidding.
