I totally agree nstoolman1 (+1)....I personally think he's out of his mind. If he was short enough to hit the wooden base it would have killed him, and possibly cut him in two. - Ouch...!

Mythbusters tried to recreate  it at a lake.

Even with a huge rubber band attached to a truck they couldn't get the distance.

Outrageous Acts of Science ran the numbers, and came up with an exit speed from the ramp required 110 MPH.

Even then there's too many variables to even expect to land within 20 feet consistently.

It was exposed as CG, but it's still pretty cool.

Ya can't hardly believe /trust anything you see anymore...CG has gotten that good!!! It would be an insane jump to even attempt though...but then there will always be some crazy fool willing to try!!! ;o)
