Nordic American (NAO), a transport firm begins trading today and closes below initial price.  Snowglobe7 is smiling as MobileIron, mobile IT platform also begins trading today and closes up 22% over initial price at $11.26.  Small cap Vitesse semiconductor to sell undisclosed number of shares, stock closed at $3.44 today.  DDR and Blackstone form JV to acquire 76 shopping centers from American Realty for $1.975B.  EagleEye ponders what Tesla CEO Musk said that Tesla will not initiate patent lawsuits against anyone who wants to use our tech in good faith.  Open source patent philosophy will strengthen Tesla’s position, world would benefit from common platform.  Callkid1 heard Twitter shakeup as Ali Rowghani resigns as COO, but will stay as strategic advisor, other management members will assume his duties. Twitter to increase user base by almost 25% in 2014.  Twitter had 0.5% of world digital ad revs in 2013, compared to Facebook’s 5.8% and Google at 32.4$.   High call volume in UPL.  The Machine is happy gold has a little pullback and closing at $1271, silver at $19.51 and copper at $3.02.

 

Iraqi uprising : Mydogz heard Al-qaeda linked group vows to march to Baghdad after seizing two key Sunni-dominated cities.  They say they have scores to settle with Shiite-led government in Baghdad.  Iraq has asked the US for air assistance in quelling the uprising.  Militants also threatening to take Shiite holy cities of Karbala and Najaf.  Iran deployed elite revolutionary guard forces to fight militants in Iraq.  Iran has helped Iraqi troops win back control of most of Tikrit.  Boosterbglee is not surprised to hear US has secretly flown small number of drones over Iraq since last year but program used to collect intel was of little use in recent incursion, says US officials.  Pattyangel is happy as US pledges more humanitarian assistance to Iraq.  $12.8M in food, shelter, water and medicine for international groups helping displaced Iraqis.  A-j516 overheard House speaker Boehner says little obe is taking a nap as terrorists capture Iraqi cities. He added US progress in Iraq is in jeopardy.

Chess just shakes his head as Maliki urged all citizens to fight against the aliens. Maliki added he did not seek American troops but America has its obligation to fight terrorism.  Thriver reported some officials think aliens are digging its own grave with its bold takeover of Iraqi’s major cities, they said that now they will be dealt with major defeat.  Minister of Oil said that oil production and export are safe and most of oil fields in the south is not affected by the security crisis.  Crude oil price jumped up two dollars for fear of interruption in delivery.  Saint heard an expert in financial planning  Dr. Issam Mahola said Iraqi Dinar should be tied to a basket of currencies instead of being confined to USD.  He added that oil price is quoted in USD but it doesn’t mean that Iraq can not be paid with other currencies.  He didn’t mention what currency he favors but Euro should always be included in the equation.  

 

From Rumor land: Adam Montana Feels Maliki is the lesser of evils and is the best man for the job at this time.  Randy Koonce believes we have a very good chance for now till Sunday as parliament will go ahead and announce Chalibi as the next candidate and we will be happy next Tuesday.  BGG says it’s the end game for Maliki as the Kurds will step in immediately.  Pepperoni thinks despite all the violence, they are still moving the economy, monetary policy and banking forward.  It will come.  Poppy3 believes CBI is ready and ISX opening for trade on July 1^st.. time will tell.  Okie the oilman says we are simply waiting for the announcement.  Tlar says two days left and Maliki will be out.  Footforward suspects we will see a new PM named and in a couple of weeks we will see everything done and could even be sooner than that.  Speaking of Dong, Poppy3 believes Dong and Dinar wills tand alone from the report.  Footforward also thinks Dong will come in the 5 to 10 cents range as China needs it to be.

Is anyone else suspicious of the timing of this invasion? I'm thinkin' Martial Law....and a prolonged stay in office by M...but still hopeful this may force his hand to jump start the economy w/an RV!!!
