A very high risk investment; and the dinar is not the only "game" in town. Don't get me wrong; I am glad that I own some dinar. But after 8 years, I can say that this "dinar thing" is just one of many speculative investments out there. And it may, or may not be the best one. We will see.

Just a few thoughts regarding the dinar. Like many on here, I have held some dinar for 8 years. These are my thoughts today. Absolutely no one on these sites knows anything about the timing of the RV, or the rate of the RV. They just don't know. Period. A year and a half ago I had my own brush with "knowing someone" who worked on Wall Street. And I spoke to him; he gave me a window; well, a year and a half after the window expired I can tell you that he didn't know anymore than any of you. Shocking isn't it? LOL What my intuition tells me is this. Ali had a chat on another site a couple of weeks ago. He spoke of his bank in Iraq; and how he is finishing the details towards that purchase. If that is true, let's think about this. Why would he purchase a bank in Iraq? To afford himself the luxury to deal with customers who might have a lot of money after an RV? Or to deal with a bunch of broke-jokers who made absolutely no money because the dinar lopped? Could Ali know something regarding the RV? Why not? I'm not saying he knows the rate or the date; but, I believe that if anyone knows the details regarding the currency change, it would be Ali. Why would I say that? Because he has sold much dinar over the years, and I think a guy would be very naive to think that he has no "contacts" on the ground in the middle east. I'm following that line of thinking. I do not believe that the RV will occur prior to 1/1/2012. Why? Because I believe that Ali's bank will be up and running prior to the RV. And on top of that, DD has said on more than one occasion that he is working on banking issues in the middle east as well. Has to be with Ali. Right? In summary, I don't see an RV until 2012; but I just don't see the lop either. It doesn't make any sense. Have a great December.

I happen to agree with your assessment of BL. She reads a great deal; and she does bring all of that info to the table. But, the truth is that she wants to be the "dinar queen", and can't stand it if someone disagrees with her. Silly, but true. Ego, Ego, Ego. Dinar drama at its finest. Keepm just doesn't buy any B.S. Not from anyone. He has studied much of this as well; and he is open to discussion. But, is someone wants to debate keepm, better have facts. Not going to win him over with "dinar stories". And regarding the lop theory, even Adam has said that the lop is "not" out of the question. It's still in the cards, even though he doesn't anticipate it.

Interesting isn't it Keepm? When you say what people want to hear, you receive 150,000 +'s; but if you tell the truth regarding what you are thinking, the boo-birds all come out. Like you, I want the RV right now, but there certainly is the possibility for a lop. Guru popularity has always been huge on these sites; if it's not this guy, then it's this guy; or now it's this lady; whatever. Nothing has changed; they will lop or RV when they are ready; and all the kings horses and all the kings men can talk all day about it; but it is going to happen like they want it to. Fact - The United States Treasury has zero dinars. But, that doesn't mean that dinars do not exist within our Govt. Guess who is in control of the dinars? It's not the UST. No link; it is what it is.
