  1. I am glad that things are looking up for you, I was concerned that we wouldn't be able to see a great update post from you like this one. I fly by the seat of my pants day to day myself, and I am inclined to believe that "what doesn't kill us makes us stronger" So, we should be real strong by the end of this journey right? Just remember, somewhere someone has it so much worse than you or I. I wish all the best for you and your wife.
  2. Mia, (real name, psuedo name, or name you might want to change.) Please, by all means point and click elsewhere, oh and caplocks???? That would be on the left of your keyboard, usually it's lit up for those "idiots" who need a visual. Don't know you, don't want to know you. You are sad, and pathetic, but I hope you have a better day today for it's Sunday. Try to get to church a little earlier than the rest, I think you may be in need of a refresher course in living in that glass house. Ebay dear, all day long. Bye bye now.
  3. I will as well, let us both know if you have Paypal set up.
  4. http://www.uss.salvationarmy.org/uss/www_uss_atlanta.nsf/vw-sublinks/C15DBC88A0C917C4852574810068F103?openDocument I did a preliminary seach and have posted the above link for you. I hope it brings you at least a few immediate resources. Also, if you are a military veteran, please reach out to the Veterans Administration, I have posted that link below. Things will work themselves out, just believe. https://www.nationalresourcedirectory.gov/homeless_assistance/states_and_territories/georgia
  5. I am no Debbie downer, but I would also like to think I am a pretty grounded person as well. I make no bones about working in the banking industry (hence my screen name). I have often said, that my knowledge of "mortgage banking" far exceeds my knowledge of this currency investment. The information that is shared and discussed on this site by many long time dinar/currency investors far exceeds the time it would take for me to analyze for myself the reality of a June through September date, so for all the expertise we have on this site, I am grateful to all who share and discuss different perspectives. I respect all of you. Having said all that just to say this...... Lets pray real hard, each and everyone of us that this thing is done in a swift manner WAY before June, and that our own dollar will hold it's own value long enough to cashin for some form of monetary profit. Never under estimate the power of prayer, you don't have to speculate on a rate or a date. http://www.merkfunds.com/merk-perspective/ One of the U.S. economy’s greatest attributes has been its flexibility, in large part a result of the allowance of free market forces. While massive monetary and fiscal efforts in the U.S. and globally may have compromised these free market forces, we believe they will play out over the long-term. In our opinion, the U.S. dollar is a natural valve to allow the U.S. economy to adapt to global market dynamics; we consider both free market forces and the unintended consequences of monetary and fiscal policies may push the U.S. dollar lower over the long-term. The recent financial crisis has in many ways exacerbated the global imbalances that concerned us leading into the crisis. Of grave concern is the unsustainable federal budget deficit, which may have morphed out of control. More worrying still, is that despite a lot of political grandstanding and rhetoric, we are yet to see any tangible evidence of fiscal restraint from either political party. Contrast this with the stance taken by many other governments around the world, which have enacted stringent austerity measures. With a sluggish economy likely to hamper tax revenues, we are unlikely to see any marked improvement in public finances over the near-term. The notion of a balanced budget seems a very distant thought when overlaying the near-term outlook with the budget implications of long-term obligations, such as Medicaid, Social Security and Medicare. Put simply, the fiscal position of the U.S. has deteriorated significantly, and we consider the outlook remains challenging. We believe this situation is likely to wear away at the safe haven status the U.S. has held for so long. As alluded to above, many other countries have been more fiscally prudent and now find themselves in much healthier fiscal positions relative to the U.S. GOoooooooo RVvvvvvvvvvv
  6. Great post Sgt. and as a reminder to the newbie from a newbie, it might be wise to invest a little money, and a lot of time reading the information posted in the VIP area. I believe this might be the solid information (newbie) you are looking for. Off to work now......You guys behave and play nice while I am gone......Captn Crunch is on the table, milk is in the fridge.
  7. First time I've seen a neighbor here, noticed that immediately. How are things across the water tonight?
  8. Zantac might want to try a little Prozac instead. Relax, you are a Senior member, rise above it, and with all the respect in the world I say, if you don't like what you are reading, simply point and click elsewhere. I come in this forum to laugh a little, or a lot depending on who is in here posting. I rarely say anything, but it kills the mood to see a post in all caps, from a Senior member, for such a harmless little post from what appears to be a loved member. Sometimes, we just listen, and know; probably not, but what if? I'm done, thanks for the laugh Thug, you are absolutely halarious.. Good Night!
  9. I believe this article came out on or around 2-17-12, but between the Government, surrogate servers, wikileaks and the newest addition of recently released on wikileaks website tonight for all the world to see (along with a free decoder ring) I can't believe that I have lived my life for this long seeing nothing but rainbows and butterflies. I think I need my blankie after al this.......
  10. http://gawker.com/5888598/wikileaks-becomes-anonymous-publishing-arm-with-new-intelligence-firm-leak?tag=hackers Just a week after hacking the CIA, Anonymous continued its onslaught of attacks on government websites early this morning by hacking several websites belonging to the Federal Trade Comission. The Associated Press reports: The loosely organized collection of cyber rebels said it attacked the FTC's consumer protection business center and the National Consumer Protection Week websites. Both sites were replaced with a violent German-language video satirizing the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement, or ACTA. As of right now, both NCPW.gov and business.ftc.gov are not responsive. The FTC's main homepage appears unaffected. We'll know soon enough if it's just a temporary oversight or next on the hit list. ACTA, or the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement, has been signed by several countries, including the United States. The controversial trade agreement would establish international rules about intellectual property. Many online activists are concerned ACTA is essentially an internet-censorship agreement akin to the SOPA legislation, which was tabled after huge protests last month. As the enforcer of trade rules in the United States, the FTC is seen as complicit in our country's support for ACTA. 11. I am really quite surprised that the Guru's haven't tapped into this little article (posted below) and claimed it as there own, as a explanation as to the lack of "front screens" showing. Anyway, AS400's probably the most secure business platform still around, but off to work anyway. Hmmmm, it's been BAU all week long for me........Just a little something to chat amongst yourselves about while I am at work...Have a great day guys. http://www.newworldorderreport.com/News/tabid/266/ID/9552/Will-the-FBI-shut-down-the-Internet-on-March-8-because-of-computer-virus-concerns.aspx
  12. Below is a post from one of our Soldiers currently in Iraq, and yes I am taking that at face value because I have no way to dispute his authenticity, telling another poster from what I gather(it was hard to follow) that basically (the stupid poster) doesn't have a clue. So with that being said, this post came from http://dinar-news.net/blog/221/iraqi-dinar-revaluation-2.html I would much rather believe that a current service member serving in Iraq, who holds the physical dinar currency, in the country where our RV is derieved from just may have provided a glimmer of what's actually going on live in Iraq at least as of 3/1/2012. TheGRIZZGREENDIPPER says: March 1, 2012 at 7:53 am now think about wha your sayin one they dont have money on the streets and every country needs money right???? look up better info ya i have dinar 5mil dinar and yes a solider and they wont let us bring it home or mail it and with me being in iraq about to come home and are supose to cash out before we leave and we are suppose to be home before end of year so with that being said the rate is 5.71 over here from what we are told so be ready ))
  13. Don't let it get to you, it's right there for anyone to see. I have posted the historical chart for you here which undoubtedly supports your claim. You are not crazy, and no one has the right to make you feel like what you bring to the table here is any less important then the next guy, or lady. You are part of our group, and I may not know currency, but I am a expert at charts, graphs, and hard data, especially those that show those little lines go up and down. Carry on my friend, it's all good. It's Friday. http://www.xe.com/currencycharts/?from=USD&to=IQD&view=1D
  14. After I read your post, I went XE and pulled up the historical graph for today 3-2-2012 (in hours), and if you take a look at the dip that did occur (even though not close to what would equal 3.96USD at conversion), there was a sharp dip from where we have been to 1161, then adjusted itself back to what 1163. It would be interesting to see if the graph coincides with your phone app. EVEN if it means nothing, I think it's interesting. I don't care if it jumps up and down all day long, as long as it ends up where we need it at least long enough to get to the bank. Goooooo Nowwwwwwww RVvvvvvvvvv
  15. Also, trailing across the top as a banner its states "Currently we are not buying or selling dinar" .......
  16. That statement gave me goose bumps.....I LOVE the intelligence within our group. Everyone is so bright, we have to wear Nicely done.
  17. I think you meant "Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey" but catch your drift, and just as the song goes.... We're so sorry but we haven't heard a thing all day We're so Sorry Uncle Albert But if anything should happen we'll be sure to give a ring........
  18. I have had nothing but positive experiences with my dinar purchases on Ebay. I like the "paper trial" I can just print from my account, and although I had one dealer that coudn't deliver, my purchase was immediately refunded, and Ebay sent me a additional $5.00 for the inconvenience.
  19. You took the words right out of my mouth this morning. Silence, dead silence. For me at least, I bounce around between many different websites when I am logged into DV. I got a rather excited friend who called me last night when all the mayhem broke loose on DR, she had just received a call from her friend at the Heritage, (store associated directly with Edgar Cayce A.R.E.) so on and so forth. After calming her down just a bit, I settled in for a long night of reading and comparing against DV. My situation is a little different then many posts that I have read that are "personal stories". Edgar Cayce Center A.R.E. is within minutes from my home, and it is a place that I am very familiar with. Anyone who lives here at the beach for any length of time knows exactly where the Heritage Store is at.. So, having said that, I was lead to this investment by a like minded friend. Prior to that recommendation, I thought Dinar was a fancy way of saying Diner,(just teasin). I am educated, and a Banker; just not that kind of banker, so I enjoy reading and extracting my own information from DV so I stay grounded. ANYWAY...I read up until the last post in DR, then headed back to DV to read the commentary of the evening. I think I said goodnight to my husband around 3:00 a.m. EST. Someone either had there Server pulled from its home base, or they just got their 747's out of the line of fire. I will be at work on Monday. One of the most Bizzare evenings I have ever seen or read...........made me feel unsettled, and glad I am a stable person.
  20. Just offering my own perspective.......... Equinox I guess I am showing my age too, thats ok, I may be old but I have seen all the cool bands, Styx, and Kansas X3. Evening Gentlemen
  21. Not downing you or you're post, but read the last couple of sentences of a article I have referenced further down. In this Forbes magazine peice the author Robert A. Green, CPA states, " It does sound like a happy ending which makes me suspicious. How much tax revenue do U.S., state and local governments stand to collect? How many former and current military personnel and contractors stand to become millionaires overnight? http://www.forbes.com/sites/greatspeculations/2011/07/27/is-the-iraqi-dinar-worthless-paper-or-maker-of-millionaires/ I have a hard time with article(s) within the same publication, that state (quite factually I might add) what a risky investment it is, and by the end of the article do some back tracking, and state; "It does sound like a happy ending which makes me suspicious. How much tax revenue do U.S., state and local governments stand to collect? How many former and current military personnel and contractors stand to become millionaires overnight?" I think Forbes and Wells needs to decide which side of the fence they want to sit on, good, bad or indifferent. and a +1
  22. I hope he does too, I don't know anything about him, or his counterparts, but I can't stand to see people place themselves in a position of redicule. Although the comments that I see in DV make his comments quoted here somewhat self inflicted. I think everyone deserves a rightious 15 minutes of fame. Just not daily...
