This story is a load! This currency exchange is going to boost not only personal financial status for people...but the government is going to collect in a big way! Not to mention the economic impact on our nation that will give Obama a reason to pat himself on the back, and take credit for it in front of the entire nation. Banks want and need our money..or anyone's money! That's what they are in the business of doing!! A presidential order has already been made stating that the citizens of the US can invest in Iraq. For someone to think that the POTUS would turn down the opportunity for this to fall under his watch, and reap the recognition is just silly! JMO! God Bless!

.10¢ would be a blessing.... But I don't think for a second that they will bring their currency out at anything less than the previous rate. This is JMO...but there has been WAY too much time and money put into this just for them to settle for mediocrity! I've read the book...definatley worth the $! But you can get the hard back copy new on Amazon for $9.99. Would recommend it. Just shows that someone who came from poverty, with a little hard work...and inspiration from God..is now a multimillionaire but still lives a simple life, and keeps things in perspective!! If we go to the pre-Saddam era...Iraq had a lot of wealth. Many seem to forget that before that era...Iraq was a very well to do country! And...they will be again...very, very soon!! And the value of the dinar did take an overnight drastic drop when the US invasion took place and the artificial rate was put in place. Prior to that...Saddam set his own rate that didn't really matter outside of the country. But, as I stated...if you look past that point in time...they did pretty well for themselves!!! God Bless!!

Wouldn't the true rate be that which it was prior to the implementation of the artificial rate and the printing and release of the 3 zero notes? If that is the case, then wouldn't it be somewhere around the $3.33 we have heard so much about? Not to mention the articles from a couple years ago stating an increase of the true rate due to the raise in the cost of living. I think they stated somewhere in the neighborhood of an additional 20%. Wish I could find some of those older articles! I truly don't believe they intend on doing ANYTHING to harm their economy or their relations with any other country, and possible investors! This article sounds like a very strong push to move....and I believe with all of my heart that we will see an increase of such a large magnitude...such as the world has ever seen before...or will see again! This is my own opinion...i know that many of you disagree. And thats okay, i respect EVERYONES opinion! Time will tell the tale, but when its all said and done...There is going to be a massive influx of new multi-millionaires across the globe!! Folks...if you dare to dream...why dream small?? I still see him weekly. Matter of fact I seen him yesterday!! Just not anything going on that he has felt needed to be shared. I have no doubt that when he has something...I am one of the first on his list of people to call. I agree...I have also put some things on the back burner...while waiting. After the release from Ch 7, we witnessed an amazing flood of news articles coming out of Iraq about everything under the sun!! Ranging from the Sanctions themselves being lifted, to the lifting of the zeros and all that they have planned to do with the economy!!! That was all great although to date...we have not seen any true movement. I have been watching, and is it just me...or has the news really slowed down?!! Dont get me wrong, we are seeing a few articles here and there...but nothing really of much substance!! To me...this is exciting!! I always suspect that when we see things slow down...and all of the hype stops...then we should really begin to pay attention...because something GOOD is about to take place!! Maybe its nothing, but after a bombardment of such informative news..full of rates, plans, laws that were to be passed, etc... For things to come to such a sudden slow down really caught my attention!!! I remain convinced that our "SUDDENLY" is about to manifest itself!! I know its Ramadan, and there are many different views concerning whether or not we will see a major increase prior to the end of the Holiday, or will they wait for the Holiday to complete....and then go for broke? Thats the reason for this thread, I just wanted to get an idea of what each of you believe, or think about all of this. I know that we all ultimatley desire the same outcome...and as I have stated many times, I have absolutley no doubt whatsoever we will receive exactly what we want....actually MORE! So, while there isnt a whole load of news coming at us right now, take a minute if you like and share your thoughts...truly where you believe things are at. Try to do your best to leave emotions out of the equasion, and using the knowledge you have gained from reading, hearing, watching, etc...give your best theory about this crazy ride that we are all in together!!! I question that last part...to adopt an exchange rate to previous years! What does this part mean? We know that in the past they have had an exchange rate of around $3.33. They really confuse me at times!! First its $1.16.....then we have seen statements in other article that clearly state returning to $3.33. Ive said it before...and I'll say it again...SMOKE SMOKE SMOKE!!! They have the plan in hand...and in one sentence they say that the citizens need to be educated..which is smart, but is it true? Are they truly going to educate the citizens beforehand? Kuwait didnt!! They simply put signs on the front of the bank explaining the what was going on, and also showing serial numbers of notes that were no good...but other than that they just allowed the people to come in and exchange 1 to 1. I tend to ignore most of this nosense! It is a ploy to make us think they are gonna do nothing until 2016 (at least in this article it is..in others we have seen different dates) , when in reality...it coming..and its coming quickly! I dont believe for a second that they will put it off (and I also dont think that other players are going to allow it either)..especially with elections coming. Would M as well as the others that stand in a position to gain additional time in office want to put off something that would ultimatley make the people a whole lot more inclined to vote for them? I dont think so, but this is my opinion. Im not an Iraqi..and no matter how hard I may try, I dont know how to think like an Iraqi citizen. I like the fact that we are actually seeing numbers now. And in a lot of cases...they arent the small numbers that many are speculating that we will see. I think that it shows that those of us who are looking for an RI or greater as opposed to an RV, are not that far off base! Time will tell..and while we wait, its great to have our group here...to share ideas, stories, etc! One thing Im grateful for is that when all is said and done...not only will we have made a very nice profit...but we have learned a great deal, and made a lot of new friends!! Dont forget paitence either...that is one thing that a whole lot of folks dont have..but after many years on this ride...we will all deserve a diploma showing we have graduated with a masters degree in Paitence!!! I agree in part! But ultimately, there natural wealth will be included in their reserves and such as their oil production increases (as they are projecting)! They are indeed corrupt, and greedy!!! That is one of the big points that will cause them to do exactly what we want..and the citizens need!! Greedy people who are broke...cant do anything except talk, talk, talk!! Greedy folks who are rich on the other hand, such as Iraq, may talk, talk, talk for a while...but there comes a point in which I dont believe they can stand it any longer...and will have to show off their $$$!! Its almost like a little kid with a big secret...he or she is able to keep it to themselves for awhile, but the entire time it is eating away at them inside!!! They just have to tell someone!! And, eventually they do!!! This may not be the best example, but you get the picture!! LOL!! As far as the "powers that be" wanting or allowing Iraq to become one of the most wealthy countries on the globe...I believe that is exactly what they want!! I also believe they are the ones who have paved the way for it to happen! If we look at the Ch 7 situation...I think that it clear that the decision was determined well before June 27 when they voted. (I believe that is the correct date) ...and I just wonder who it was that put the whole thing into motion that would get them out of the sanctions? I think that whoever those people are...are the ones who are now upset that Iraq continues to drag their feet in requards to the currency value increase! Could it be the Buildabirger group? Good possibility!! If it is...they wont play around long. From what I have heard, read, and seen about this bunch, they are dangerous...and they are gonna get their way.....OR ELSE!! They might just fit Maliki or Turki or anyone else attempting to hold things up with a custom pair of concrete boots!! LOL!! This is nice..Thanks! Sounds like CBI doesn't much like the report concerning their finances and their ability (or maturity if you will) to handle and maintain money in these accounts. A call for them to be even more transparent!! How many times have we heard others asking for the same thing?!? "Show us your money, Mr. Gov of CBI...what does Iraq truly have left? How much have you boys "lost" (cough, cough) during the last year or two? LOL!! We know good and well who has their hand in the cookie jar over there! The sad thing is..nobody know how many? And what about that 10 tons of gold? Where did it magically appear from? And the wonder why foreign investors are beating the door down to give them their money!!! I believe this puts a look of shame on the face of all involved, and therefore can be a fantastic thing for us and the Iraqi people! It sounds like that might be the case...but certain ones are not informed, or just not certain about the plan and are therefore wanting to have a meeting about why the salaries are being cut...after all, 80%!!! That's a hefty chunk outta someone's payday without an RV/RI to compensate for it on the bottom line!! Be blessed!
