  1. You cannot buy up or manipulate what is not available (dinar) unless through a different means such as terrorism. They can scream from the mountaintops "We're gonna RV" all they want provided they know where and who is holding dinar. It's not like there's an endless supply being printed. There is a finite amount of dinar in the world and the CBI is acting as if they know have taken that into account.
  2. Then why say this Zig? He added Abadi that "the government Committee agrees opinion, but it calls for guarantees of non-forgery or reference currency in the markets," noting that "the large number of zeros generates mistakes, and if what has been deleted Snqll mistakes and deal be easier," stressing at the same time that "what we do is the study of safeguards to reduce fraud or return of the currency markets." The way I'm reading this is...The government committee agrees with the call to "delete zeros" but they want guarantees against the higher denominations making it back into circulation. They clearly say here that the use of these HD's is causing problems by saying "the large number of zeros generates mistakes". The reference here is to the bills in circulation being the problem, not so much the zeros on them. If that is correct, then the process of "deleting zeros" here would be referencing the removal of the larger denominations after lower denominations are released and the dinar is re-valued or floated or whatever they plan to do. In other words, they will "delete" them from circulation. Something has to happen for the Iraqis to want to exchange the HD's, that being a change in value and/or the release of the LD's. A straight LOP doesn't get Iraqis turning in HD's. The opening paragraph says it as well: "Revealed the Finance Committee in the House of Representatives on Thursday to postpone the process of deletion of zeros from the currency until after the next parliamentary elections, while confirming that the government demanding guarantees for currency Replaced not return to markets and forgery." They are afraid of the HD's making it back into circulation which will breed fraud and forgery. This tells us that the removal of the HD's is not just some pipe dream of RVers but a real event. Could they LOP the zeros from the bills and then "delete" them from circulation...sure...but I just don't see that happening. We'll see....
  3. Wow! This thread actually got me up and out of bed to make this reply because while some of you have said some nice things about how God is in your life and part of everything you do, no one has come remotely close to explaining why so many invoke God's name concerning Iraq. Before I do, let me say this...Are there people out there using the name of God to sell dinar? Probably....And God will deal with them. But there are many who truly feel that what we are standing on the brink of is biblical and I sincerely hope I can shed some light on why so many people believe that this situation with Iraq has everything to do with God. Well...if I had to say it in one word, that word would be....Babylon. The ancient city of Babylon was located about 60 miles (100 kilometers) south of Baghdad in modern-day Iraq and served for nearly two millennia as the center of Mesopotamian civilization. One of Babylon's early rulers was Hammurabi who was credited as having put together one of the first systems of law and is depicted on one of the denominations of dinars we are currently hoping RV's. By the time Nebuchadnezzar II would come to rule the empire, it stretched from the Persian Gulf to the borders of Egypt. He captured Jerusalem twice, in 597 B.C. and 587 B.C., events that led to the destruction of the first Jewish temple and the deportation of many Jewish inhabitants to Babylonia. This was prophesied in the books of Ezekiel, Daniel, Isaiah, and Jeremiah, 250 years prior to the actual events. At any rate, God also said that he would destroy Babylon as punishment...."Babylon will be a heap of ruins, a haunt of jackals, an object of horror and scorn, a place where no one lives." - Jeremiah 51:37 This prophecy came true as well and the ancient city of Babylon was destroyed. Now remember that I am giving you the very condensed version but this brings us up to today's current events. The reason so many invoke the name and will of God surrounding Iraq and a possible RV is because the bible clearly states that in the last days, God will raise up New Babylon, in the same location, which will be the seat of power for the Anti-Christ and his one world government that will usher in the second coming of Jesus Christ. It is to be the richest nation the world has ever known...more opulent than any other...and the nations of the world will become extremely rich from financial dealings with her. She will be a cesspool of sin though, but that sin will be part of her lure to the nations. Her rise and fall will be part of the bowl judgments God pours out in the last days. The chapter describes how attractive Babylon will be to the world but inside she is a harlot, over run and overcome with sin, and will be overtaken by the Anti-Christ (beast) from where he will rule the world. The last portion of the chapter describes this in detail...please read below. Revelation 17 tells us about this New Babylon: (Please read...don't skim over it if you really want to know) The Great Prostitute and the Beast 1 Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and said to me, "Come, I will show you the judgment of the great prostitute who is seated on many waters, 2 with whom the kings of the earth have committed sexual immorality, and with the wine of whose sexual immorality the dwellers on earth have become drunk." 3 And he carried me away in the Spirit into a wilderness, and I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast that was full of blasphemous names, and it had seven heads and ten horns. 4 The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and jewels and pearls, holding in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the impurities of her sexual immorality. 5 And on her forehead was written a name of mystery: "Babylon the great, mother of prostitutes and of earth's abominations." 6 And I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints, the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. When I saw her, I marveled greatly. 7 But the angel said to me, "Why do you marvel? I will tell you the mystery of the woman, and of the beast with seven heads and ten horns that carries her. 8 The beast that you saw was, and is not, and is about to rise from the bottomless pit and go to destruction. And the dwellers on earth whose names have not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world will marvel to see the beast, because it was and is not and is to come. 9 This calls for a mind with wisdom: the seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman is seated; 10 they are also seven kings, five of whom have fallen, one is, the other has not yet come, and when he does come he must remain only a little while. 11 As for the beast that was and is not, it is an eighth but it belongs to the seven, and it goes to destruction. 12 And the ten horns that you saw are ten kings who have not yet received royal power, but they are to receive authority as kings for one hour, together with the beast. 13 These are of one mind, and they hand over their power and authority to the beast. 14 They will make war on the Lamb, and the Lamb will conquer them, for he is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those with him are called and chosen and faithful." 15 And the angel said to me, "The waters that you saw, where the prostitute is seated, are peoples and multitudes and nations and languages. 16 And the ten horns that you saw, they and the beast will hate the prostitute. They will make her desolate and naked, and devour her flesh and burn her up with fire, 17 for God has put it into their hearts to carry out his purpose by being of one mind and handing over their royal power to the beast, until the words of God are fulfilled. 18 And the woman that you saw is the great city that has dominion over the kings of the earth." Hopefully you can see why so many Christians are watching the events of Iraq very closely. If Iraq, the new Babylon prophesied of in the bible, is about to step onto the world stage as the preeminent nation, about to be flooded with great riches, to where the other nations will become rich off of her, many think the dinar and the RV is the likely way God will use to make them very rich. Revelation 18 continues with describing the rise and fall of this New Babylon. Please read below... The Fall of Babylon 1 After this I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was made bright with his glory. 2 And he called out with a mighty voice, "Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great! She has become a dwelling place for demons, a haunt for every unclean spirit, a haunt for every unclean bird, a haunt for every unclean and detestable beast. 3 For all nations have drunk the wine of the passion of her sexual immorality, and the kings of the earth have committed immorality with her, and the merchants of the earth have grown rich from the power of her luxurious living." 4 Then I heard another voice from heaven saying, "Come out of her, my people, lest you take part in her sins, lest you share in her plagues; 5 for her sins are heaped high as heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities. 6 Pay her back as she herself has paid back others, and repay her double for her deeds; mix a double portion for her in the cup she mixed. 7 As she glorified herself and lived in luxury, so give her a like measure of torment and mourning, since in her heart she says, 'I sit as a queen, I am no widow, and mourning I shall never see.' 8 For this reason her plagues will come in a single day, death and mourning and famine, and she will be burned up with fire; for mighty is the Lord God who has judged her." 9 And the kings of the earth, who committed sexual immorality and lived in luxury with her, will weep and wail over her when they see the smoke of her burning. 10 They will stand far off, in fear of her torment, and say, "Alas! Alas! You great city, you mighty city, Babylon! For in a single hour your judgment has come." 11 And the merchants of the earth weep and mourn for her, since no one buys their cargo anymore, 12 cargo of gold, silver, jewels, pearls, fine linen, purple cloth, silk, scarlet cloth, all kinds of scented wood, all kinds of articles of ivory, all kinds of articles of costly wood, bronze, iron and marble, 13 cinnamon, spice, incense, myrrh, frankincense, wine, oil, fine flour, wheat, cattle and sheep, horses and chariots, and slaves, that is, human souls. 14 "The fruit for which your soul longed has gone from you, and all your delicacies and your splendors are lost to you, never to be found again!" 15 The merchants of these wares, who gained wealth from her, will stand far off, in fear of her torment, weeping and mourning aloud, 16 "Alas, alas, for the great city that was clothed in fine linen, in purple and scarlet, adorned with gold, with jewels, and with pearls! 17 For in a single hour all this wealth has been laid waste."And all shipmasters and seafaring men, sailors and all whose trade is on the sea, stood far off 18 and cried out as they saw the smoke of her burning, "What city was like the great city?" 19 And they threw dust on their heads as they wept and mourned, crying out, "Alas, alas, for the great city where all who had ships at sea grew rich by her wealth! For in a single hour she has been laid waste. 20 Rejoice over her, O heaven, and you saints and apostles and prophets, for God has given judgment for you against her!" 21 Then a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone and threw it into the sea, saying, "So will Babylon the great city be thrown down with violence, and will be found no more; 22 and the sound of harpists and musicians, of flute players and trumpeters, will be heard in you no more, and a craftsman of any craft will be found in you no more, and the sound of the mill will be heard in you no more, 23 and the light of a lamp will shine in you no more, and the voice of bridegroom and bride will be heard in you no more, for your merchants were the great ones of the earth, and all nations were deceived by your sorcery. 24 And in her was found the blood of prophets and of saints, and of all who have been slain on earth." I hope this helps explain why God's name continues to be used when describing the events we hope will transpire. The bible clearly prophecies that a New Babylon will emerge and it will be unlike any other nation in the history of the world. Many believe we are on the verge of God raising up this "great" nation as we are living in the end times. Whether God uses an RV and the dinar to begin the rise of this nation, I don't know. But you can bet that it will happen. God is always working and guiding human history for His purposes. Thanks all and I hope this helps...God bless! This is pretty amazing stuff...please read and watch. http://www.aljazeera.com/video/middleeast/2012/02/201222075513157725.html Or try this one: http://www.nytimes.com/2006/04/18/world/middleeast/18babylon.html?pagewanted=all&_r=0
  4. Thanks Pocono, I will check them out! I will say that I have looked up "raise the zeros" and "lift the zeros" and the results have been the same, both come back as "the zeros" while the only time I get "leading zeros" is when I do "delete the zeros". But thank you, as I said I will check out those articles.
  5. Wow! Another pretty promising article...hopefully the source is reputable. I did catch this from another article from a couple days ago... "In an attempt by the Government to improve the Iraqi currency, intended to delete the three zeros is pricing exchange rate 1.16 against the dollar, the dinar would replace the State budget $ 172 billion dinars, or the equivalent of about $ 150 million, and the Government is preparing to perform this step with the adoption of the "new dinar" requesting an order from the Central Bank to raise its value gradually down to be equal to the dollar. " You'll notice that they describe the rate 1.16 as a result of dropping the zeros...not to mention the term "gradual" suggests a float. Pretty interesting stuff and it all kind of coincides with what I offered as the yesterday as a possible breakthrough in the dictionary meaning of "delete the zeros" in that that phrase means "leading zeros" in Arabic.
  6. Keep, that is not how Arabic works. Every word in the language is based off of a 3 letter Arabic base and when other letters are added it changes the meaning. That's why these translations are all over the place. Again, I was looking for meaning, not translation. There is an arrangement of Arabic letters in the phrase "delete the zeros" that translates to "leading zeros". A certain Arabic letter was added to the overall phrase to give it certain meaning and context. I don't know how else to explain it really... And I agree with you on your other comments...it doesn't seem plausible...but could it be possible? Give the next two pieces of evidence a look...They are very recent articles. In the first one, I highlighted the important part...See below... Economic committee member urged CBI to resume the project of deletion of zeros from Iraqi dinars09 Aug 2013 Parliamentary commission of economy and investment of the Central Bank has been called by Iraq news network, in order to discuss the significance and process of deletion of zeros from the Iraqi currencies. It has to be noted that Iraq has recently got freedom from the sanctions of Chapter VII and according to the economic experts; it is advantageous to make decisions regarding restructuring of Iraqi currency at this moment. As the sanctions have been withdrawn, it is expected that Iraq will gain more business power in the world and will soon become a popular place for business venture. In the presence of members of the Committee on the economy and investment, MP Khalil mehma stated that the Central Bank should start a currency structure as a purely economic issue. The Attorney pointed out on this issue that Iraqi constitution should be changed accordingly if Iraqi dinar has to be reformatted. He also mentioned that Iraq will be the first country to take this initiative of deleting zeros from its currencies. The government of Iraq has taken some significant steps to build the future of Iraq on the foundation of the foreign investments into the country. Central Bank’s initiative to omit zeros will make the economy of the country stable and certainly will help the investors. Not only that, the common people of Iraq will also be benefitted if such measures take place in near future as this will lead to price stability of the market goods. MP Khalil also added that the project to omit zeros from the currencies of Iraq was pending due to the obligations of chapter VII. According to him government and the Central Bank of Iraq should rethink on this matter and should take swift measures to strengthen the economy of Iraq. Attorney Abdul Hussein abtan said project delays and the survival of the zeros in the Iraqi currency is reasonable as the Iraqi Central Bank reserves of 76 billion dollars and now dealing in thousands. In the month of August of last year, the CBI stated that it was then planning on omission of zeros from the Iraqi currencies. The deletion of Iraqi dinar will facilitate financial transactions made through cash. However, there is a bigger challenge in the way of deletion of zeros from the Iraqi currency. Presently, more than 30 trillion dinars circulating in the Iraqi market which have to be discarded and replaced with a new currency. This task would not be easy, as opined by experts and observers. Updated 09 Aug 2013 | Soruce: AIN | By S.Seal This is another recent article (from yesterday I believe) and if you read what I put below, you'll see that the mention of the deleting the zeros gets you a 1.16 rate. Just food for thought Keep. Maybe they will be the first nation ever to do it differently as the first article suggests...we'll see!!! "
  7. I know what you mean Keep...they've been telling us different things for so long it's hard to keep things straight sometimes. Maybe they're trying to throw us off for reasons you yourself have stated...they would be insane to come out and announce it. Perhaps every once in awhile someone lets something slip. I do think though that any discussion about "leading zeros" has to be seen as a direct reference to the exchange rate. It's the only figure that has leading zeros... .00086 I don't know...let's just hope for the best!
  8. Kinda weird....He does say someone sent it to him though.
  9. Hey Keep...sorry brother for not getting back to you. Its been hit or miss for me lately and I'm trying to comment when I can. However, I would like to answer your question. This is from Wikipedia but I've seen this elsewhere too. "Leading zeroes" are used by certain computer programs, like the Forex system. "A leading zero is any 0 digit that leads a number string in positional notation. For example, James Bond's famous identifier, 007, has two leading zeros. Leading zeros occupy most significant digits, which could be left blank or omitted for the same numeric value. Usual decimal notation of integers does not use leading zeros except for the zero itself, which would be denoted as an empty stringotherwise. Often, leading zeros are found on non-electronic digital displays or on such electronic ones as seven-segment displays, that contain fixed sets of digits. These devices include manual counters, stopwatches, odometers, and digital clocks. Leading zeros are also generated by many older computer programs when creating values to assign to new records, accounts and other files, and as such are likely to be used by utility billing systems, human resources information systems and government databases."
  10. He's not a guru Keep...I've pointed out numerous times that Adam is considered a guru on certain sites. There is nothing you can do about what someone wants to label you...
  11. Hey Keep...did you see my question about the theory why they mention Turkey and Lebanon in these articles? There are those postulating on what they obviously feel is credible information that those two nations are used to show the same outcome through a different process. Any thoughts?
  12. Thanks Maggie for the kind words... Actually Tlar has been using the term "leading zeroes" for quite some time so it's not really a huge coincidence. I don't wanna take up thread space pumping another site but I read Tlar's take on most things as he's pretty logical and down to earth....imho. In fact, the reason why I was so stunned when "leading zeroes" came up as the translation is because Tlar has been using the phrase for quite a while because of articles he has read that included the phrase. Really, the entire theory is part of Dinar Alert's site. Kap and crew has access to an Arabic translator and they have allegedly confirmed the meaning of the phrase as well. It was really a shot in the dark on my part as I had no idea what to expect when I typed the words in...I was just looking for meaning and not necessarily a translation. I think what I discovered merely backs up what Tlar has been saying. I'll see if I can't dig up those articles with the phrase in them.
