I believe it’s time you find YOUR “highest ground”. It’s definitely coming!!! I’ve received tremendous intel today that gives me an amazing feeling that we are right on top of this thing. There are TOO many quality people in important positions stating the EXACT SAME THINGS. As you know, I will NOT go into details, and I will NOT share who I know what from, but I am very confident in this, and there were some things (someone) that held this up. It appears that stuff is over and we’re on the cusp. This should have gone down BEFORE the Obama speech. Where is YOUR “highest ground”? For me… that’s on my knees praying to my Heavenly Father… Go Dinar! DD

Picture yourself on a California beach with a minnow in your hand, now let the minnow go in the Pacific ocean. Call your friend in Hawaii and tell him "ready, set, go find the minnow. Keep this scenerio in mind...it will help and come into play in just a moment. This monumental and historical opportunity with the Dinar is not with out it's vast complications, as we have all seen. What you might not realize that it is a global "World Changer", let me explain and I will make it simple. The USD is at it's lowest point in years and the economy is in the tank. As you have heard before "as America goes, so does the world" and with that, comes the opportunity for others to make their move and get to the head of the pack. Heard of the G20 summit meetings? We'll the one scheduled for 2011 already has a petition at it's front door. From whom? China. China has asked for the IMF and for it to be considered at the G20 summit in 2011 for the USD to be dropped as the global standard currency in which all others are measured. They want a "basket" of curriencies to replace the USD as a standard. This is just the 1st step. It is also widely known that China, within the next 7-10 years wants the Chineses currency to then replace the basket of currencies and become the standard that all other currencies are now measured by. WOW. Big undertaking, yet it is within the realm of possibilties This is another step. Then you have the OIL. We have all heard of Iraq and the wealth of oil that they have. Guess who has more...their neighbor IRAN. Iran use to be USA friendly until the Iatollah overthrough the Shah of Iran and he was exiled to the US where he died later in years. Iran has since been a pain in the *&%*&. Now, picture a democratic Iraq, a free Iraq, and one that it's people are prospering and prospering well. I believe it is written that the people of Iraq will receive 15% of all oil royalties. It will be just like Dubia, a welfare state. One where everyone sits at home and recieves a check for $130,000+ each year for doing nothing. Not bad huh. Well now look at your border over in Iran, where it's people are just like that of the old Iraq. Held under bondage while the nut job runs and ruins the country. Think if the people of Iran catch the fire of what's going on in Iraq. And they have more oil. They will want what their neighbors have. Keepin up with the Jones'. They could have an internal uprising and overthrow the nut job. It can be done and not one drop of American blood be spilled. We would all like that, wouldn't we. There are so many more global positionings going on it is unbelievable. This is a giant chess game being played by world countries with the winner calling check mate. The USA CANNOT AFFORD TO LOSE in this world changing event. Now comes the minnow swimming along in the Pacific ocean (the largest ocean on the planet) That's us. We think we are a big fish in all of this RV, yet we are a minnow and nobody cares what we say, what we think or how much we scream, why?? They can't hear us, we are only minnows. The RV will come, it will, but only when the last chess piece is in place and I believe it has to be the one where the USA calls check mate. Anything else, and our way of life here in the US will change drastically and for the worst. It will not be a pretty site and you just might have to learn to speak chinese to get along. No joke intended. I can only hope that this little glimpse into what is happening behind close doors will give us, the minnow, some peace knowing what is going on, what is at stake and WHY it is taking time. Hold on, we will get there, when it is the right time and check mate can be called by us, ther greastest country in the world. WE will ALL win. Go USA and go RV, HD

Well I spent almost two hours with my CPA yesterday (corporate returns were due yesterday) and I have some interesting news... First... my CPA could not find any tax code (note I said actual code, not from a blog or publication on the internet) that addresses owning hard currency and exchanging it for another. IT DOESN'T EXIST!! Two... windfall taxes have been around for decades and were designed to penalize the oil and utility companies when they were making obscene profits. There is NO bill pending that would tax individuals 70% of their investment. Now... it doesn't mean that they may not try and close this loop hole somehow... but here lies the problem. Right now Dems are joining Republicans and placing pressure on the White Hose to keep all the Bush cuts in place. Do you really think they're going to pass a new tax on individual investors in this political arena? Probably not... but we must keep a very close eye on congress and what they're doing. This site by the way is through the Internal Revenue Service. One more important note... Everything above is the treasury level. Individual states also have special tax laws you need to be aware of. My last post! This will be my last post on DV. Why you may ask am I doing this? There are many reasons and I will list just a few of them. 1. I have never had or ever will have any inside information on when or for how much the Iraqi Dinar will RV at. I have no boots on the ground or know anyone that works at a Bank. I also believe no one else does either. 2. Most of the stuff I have posted has been jokes. But most of all the reason is earlier today I posted a joke/cartoon about The Muslim mind and it was taken down because a few people were offended. I feel that was wrong. 3. I guess it is ok to burn our flag and cut peoples heads off and treat women like s@ and we are not supposed to be offended. 4. Almost stark with out rumors and intel.

First off this is not a rumor since this was my own face to face meeting. Maybe rumor to you but not for me . I am only sharing this to show positive progress with BOA. I drove 2 1/2 hours to Tulsa, Ok. where my district BOA headquarters is located. My meeting with the BOA rep lasted about 45 min. I explained the IQD situation with this rep from A to Z in ref to the CBI, ISX, WTO, you name it, it was discussed. I then advised her that OFAC sanctions were lifted on Monday and she immediatley jumped on to her computor to check for which she was able to verify that fact for herself. At this time, the reality of the IQD investment hit her (BOA rep) like a ton of bricks. She immediatley went into the private banking sector of BOA with me. She also advised me that my account would be credited while waiting for fund verification via the De La Rue which she stated should not take more than 72 hours. We also discussed briefly about negotiations of the spread at cash in time for which she understood would not be available until that day comes. Prior to ending out meeting she was already trying to set me up with BOA wealth management team which is Merrell Lynch. At this time we were done with our meeting.

Exactly! Look if you have a relationship with god that is a wonderful... but i find it ridiculous when people say "god will finally bless us with this investment" and "Pray to god and he will give us our long awaited investment he has something in store for us" or "God works in mysterious ways and his blessings will show that" im sorry but that is so hypocritical and off the wall. In the bible GOD WARNS of being materialistic and tells us to keep a SIMPLE EYE. God blesses people who do his will. Some of those things are Preach his word to people, (jesus command at Matt 28:19,20) living accourding to bible standads, and pray for HIS WILL to be done on earth... and many more. Obviously everybody here wants the extra cash! It will help them pay bills, get out of debt, set up a saftey net, get their children secured, and give ourselves a sense of stability.... but if your praying for a RV to happen its just as bad as trying your hand at the lotto "OH GOD IF YOU LET ME WIN i will do this, this, this, and this" ...... ummm god doesnt care how much money you got... he just wants you to serve him and do his will, read the bible. I am not perfect and i dont pray for RV to happen because i find it wrong to ask the almighty for a blessing with money. The way i see it is... i took a risk with an investment and if it pays off.... THEN GOOD JOB ME for taking the risk.. if it doesnt pay off IM OK WITH THAT TOO. But i will not sit here and ask GOD and say PRAISE him for something he doesnt want to be praised for.... God will bless those who serve him correctly so the question for many of the people here who believe in god is..... Am i living in a way that he accepts... not what i think he accpets. The answer lies in his written word. "the bible". If you disagree with what i say and think you should praise god for this then you can do that but if you believe in god you have to believe what he writes in the bible and that their will tell you what he wants to be praised for.

I'm not sure what you mean ... our group buys every week ... sometimes up to 3 times per week ... why would someone think an article would cause anyone to buy ... we have a plan and we are executing it. The longer they take the more we acquire ... did I say that we feed kids internationally? Since there isn't anyway for us to buy enough to stem world hunger ... we will buy for as long as we are able! More importantly ... if you've been here 2 years you know Frank26's schtick ... why do you bother reading it ... it's long ... save yourself a few minutes of life and live it differently from now on ... oh, yeah ... the guy gets 24,000 to 77,000 hits per night ... no one ... repeat that ... no one here gets that kind of interest. Our current leadership not only does not care about what is going on.... it is allowing information flow what will aid in the destruction of this great nation. If you can give me a good explaination for what our president is thinking,,,, your doing better than most. Lets look at just a FEW on the list. No plans for NASA.... Ok Lets call the Chineese and Russians to go to space and work on our "Satelites". Wake up Idiot!!! Down size the military??? How about we get rid of some of the new CZARS and all the waste that came with that. Maybe put a few of the military on the Mexican border!!! While we are on that subject.... Lets run up MILLIONS in legal fees with Arizona... that will help support a few families of lawyers. Not that they need help right now. Maybe roll back the salaries of some of the goverment staff that got giant rasises this year and the last few years and take them back 10 years.... Thats what the American public had to do. There are staffers that make over $150,000.00. Bet if it was higher the ALL the Bush tax cuts would be reinstated. I am a business owner... When the REPUBLICANS WERE IN POWER.. My company was multi million.... the Dems took over in 2007 and it has been not only down hill but a cliff since then. PAY PEOPLE TO WORK.... DONT PAY THEM TO SIT ON THEIR A$$ and do nothing.. If they want the land of entitlements... Europe will be needing help with the new "FORCE" that has arived. Health care..... Well no need to go there... that explains itself. Oh yea... when it was introduced.... there was talk of no abortions.... turned out to be an abortion itself! Cap N Trade..... Thats worse than health care. Lets borrow money from the same people that wish to derail us so that they have more say so in what goes on in our government. Obama knows the RV will lift the US from this DEPRESSION. Over and over I have seen the question asked about the history of the Kuwaiti Dinar after the first Gulf War. I have posted this information many times in the past on many forums but it seems that most have forgotten and the new investors have never been educated as to what happened on the ground in Kuwait. So here it is by the numbers. 1. Saddam rolled into Kuwait and removed billions of Kuwaiti Dinar 2. The value of the Kuwaiti dinar dropped from it's pre invasion value of $3.47 per dinar to a low of .05 - .10 cents per dinar. 3. Everyone in Kuwait and the region were dumping all of the Kuwaiti Dinars they had for US Dollars as fast as they could. 4. When the US rolled in to liberate Kuwait the Kuwaiti Dinar was being traded on the street / black market for as low as .10 cents per one Kuawiti Dinar. 5. New currency was printed and exchanged after the banks reopened and the value of the Kuwaiti Dinar was returned to it's pre invasion value of $3.47 and all older dinar vas exchanged at this high value. 6. So YES...there were people who bought the Kuwaiti Dinar in Kuwait at a price of .05 to .10 cents and redeemed them at the full price of $3.47. This DID happen. Mr. Yahya hid the bank's balance sheets in his home and sent its computer records to London via Syria with an Indian employee, who packed the tapes into the back of a trailer. The banks also face serious personnel shortages. Only 11 of the Commercial Bank's 35 branches opened today, with 137 out of 1,300 workers. Before the Iraqi invasion, only 17 percent of the bank's staff was Kuwaiti. Many of the foreign workers -- Jordanians, Palestinians and Indians -- fled and now cannot re-enter the country. For those exchanging money today, there was little they could buy in Kuwait. Many of those in line said they planned to use their money for vacations or for shopping trips to Saudi Arabia to buy generators and food. "I need to get away from this pressure," said Abdul Mohammed Hussein, a computer engineer in his early 40's who said he was withdrawing 1,500 new dinars to take a vacation in the United Arab Emirates. "Everywhere you go you find lines. At the supermarket, you find lines. To get petrol for the car, you find lines." I have been buying dinars from bok for awhile. A friend called me today and said he went to get some more and was told that they are no longer selling the dinar. I called the main branch to confirm, he was right. They would not give any reason as to why, only that they received the call about an hour ago that instructed them to no longer sale. They WILL accept IQD for USD just not other away around. This is all I know and I have no idea if it pertains to any of this, just wanted to share. I hope this is good news for all. I know this is my first post, but I have been lurking here for awhile(longer than my "joined" date). I am wishing the best for all! gooooo rv!!!!!!!!!

OK. I'm quite sure this response will cause some spicy dialogue! I am who I am. It is my faith, belief, and past experience which all serve together to create my character. It is my character which influences my personality. My character and personality determine the tone of my conversations. I can not separate myself from who I am. As a result, my discussions will, at times, contain references to my faith and beliefs. This is called 1st Amm. Rights. It's in the Constitution. Look it up. Sorry, but I dont have the link! I only get specific and open about my thoughts on religion and faith where I see that the majority of persons responding are of like mind and discussion. Much like the pledge of allegiance in schools, no one is forced to participate. If you look back in our not too distant history, America was revered and feared most when we stuck to the values of our forefathers. Not tolerating despots, dictators or political ideologies that have since been proven to fail. When this great nation of ours sheds the "we have to be liked" mentality only then will we regain our previous strength and standing in the world. As a cold war era veteran that served under Reagan and Bush it is disheartening at times to witness what we have become. even though The following was sent to me by my father in an email before the elections, In my opinion, it contains some of the most informative, interesting and encouraging insight I’ve read on the dinar rv I’ve read in a while. not sure if anyone else has seen this or if it has been posted here. at any rate it is worth the time to read. For the benefit of new investors, as well as not so new investors, Enjoy!! Just some concepts to keep in mind as we watch the events unfold and the weird way things seem to be going. First, money: There are basically two types of money; money based on the strength of an economy like the US, and money based on valuable commodities like oil, gold, etc., like Kuwait, Saudi, and at present Iraq, potentially. The value of the USD is based on our ability to produce goods and services. The value of the KWD (Kuwait), for example, is 95% based on the value of the oil in the ground being pumped and sold. Iraq, right now, has now valued its money on the value of its commodities of which they have an abundance (oil, gold, other minerals, agriculture and a host of other valuable things the world wants). BUT, Iraq WANTS to have an economy on which to base its money because having a viable economy is MORE stable than simply pumping oil. When the oil runs out, their money becomes worthless again. Second, International Politics: The US and Iraq are tied together, the US$ is Iraq’s international money. They want their OWN international money. China wants to dethrone the US$ as the global currency so they are pushing buttons with the IMF to revalue the IQD at a LOW rate which will weaken the US$. But they can’t let the US$ get too low, or their exports will become expensive and they will lose market share in the US. They are conspiring with Russia and Iran to screw the US$ internationally. Third, US politics: As the US deficit and debt grow our money becomes less valuable internationally. A good Iraq RV will boost the US$ big time and blunt the Chinese efforts to screw us. This just happened with Dubai. The Dubai problem is centered in the .. which effects the EURO. US banks are not heavily into Dubai, thus with the Dubai possible default international money is flocking to the US and increasing the value of the US$ against the EURO. The US took a 6.5% bump up since the Dubai real estate problem became public. This means that the IMF efforts to pin the Dinar to the EURO (the $1.49 RV) is weakened by the stronger US$ which makes the Iraqi desire for a HIGH RV in US$ more probable and more feasible. International Trade: Iraq WANTS to establish an economy based on more than their oil, gold, and natural gas so they have to get into the international market systems. To do this they MUST have a currency with real value. The sooner they do the RV, the faster they will be able to build their economy. They have taken the steps necessary to begin this process, but still need the revalued currency. So right now, we know a few things. First, in order to get a better economic position the CBI had to revalue before the IMF imposed deadline which all information says they did. So there IS a value but we don’t know what it is. But the CBI has no POWER to implement the RV publicly. Only the government of Iraq can do that and they are looking for the most politically advantageous time to insure their re-election in January or February. Apparently, the CBI HAS made the decision to avoid the embarrassment of having the IMF tell them what THEIR money should be worth. They just haven’t made it known yet. That’s up to the politicians. We believe they are ready to do it but just have not decided precisely when. With their desire to get into international trade, they have to get moving on this. Second, Iraq didn’t want the low IMF value of $1.49. They would prefer a high $3.27 for two reasons; it is supportable by their natural resources, AND it would attract to the country to help build their economy. Third, they can’t go too high as that would only be based on natural resources and would be better off to go a little lower in order to give them room to grow. Thus, we have the $2.47 possible rate. The problem with the high rate is that it would make the nation a welfare state like Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. In both those countries with high value money, they don’t do anything but pump oil. 95% of the value of their currency is the money they get from exporting oil. If the exports decrease, their revenues decrease and they have nothing to back it up. The people don’t do anything except receive royalty checks from the government. It’s like a nation of welfare recipients run by rich sheiks. Iraq wants to avoid that situation, but still have a high enough value to attract . Fourth; the $2.47 rate is based on the SDR which is a “basket” of currencies from different nations with stable economies so that the money value will remain consistent. The SDR consists of proportions from the US$, British pound, Japanese Yen and the EURO. This position makes the most sense as the economies are stable, functional and diversified. We also know that all of this has to happen pretty soon if Iraq is going to get the benefits from ALL the contracts they are signing to develop their oil fields and get their manufacturing and agricultural economy going. Thus the people get jobs, and don’t end up like Kuwait or Saudi where a bunch of sheiks instead of an elected government runs the country. With all of the oil (3rd largest in the world) in the ground being exploited, nearly the same amount of oil (approx 150 billion additional barrels) not yet drilled (found but not drilled), their gold deposits, other minerals, natural gas deposits, and agriculture (the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers make the land VERY fertile), Iraq has the potential for a diversified and significant economy. So this country is really on the brink of economic explosion, so WHEN they decide to implement the RV, their economy will begin to rebuild. This will be a significant political benefit to the current politicians. Again, the sooner the better for everyone. They are just waiting to get their internal politics lined up and let it happen. But politically, if Iraq becomes a strong, semi-democratic, economically stable nation, it will divide the jihadist Iran and isolate it from Saudi, etc. and over 2/3 rds of the Middle East oil (which is 60% of the total oil in the world) would be in moderate Islamic control which will blunt the jihadist movement. As far as we are concerned, all of this good stuff is still POTENTIAL not ACTUAL, so the RV is really for Iraq as much as a speculation as it is for us. They have to get their “ducks in a row”. They have to be generating contracts to develop their resources to get the money to grow their economy. They have to have their politics lined up so the internal factions (Kurds, Sunnis, Shi’ites) who don’t like each other much get the right share of the benefits. They have to avoid the Chinese blackmail attempt to bankrupt them by dumping their 3 trillion dinar on the market to derail their efforts to aid Iran and Russia in THEIR attempts to corner the oil and natural gas to Europe. Right now with the Dubai real estate failures, the European Central Bank is in trouble and the US$ is getting stronger pushing Iraq away from any RV that has the EURO in it. As Iraq moves away from the EURO and toward the US$, that makes China’s bid to deny the US$ as the default global currency less successful. IF, for example, Iraq RV’s at $3, then the US will have $15 trillion dollars in dinar. We owe China $800 billion which works to weaken the US$. We could give China 100 billion dinars out of our 5 trillion (plus the 1.5 trillion private US citizens own) and pay them off helping the US$ get stronger by wiping out our debt to China and thus counter their political moves against us. The rest of the dinars we own, we could use to buy oil from Iraq with DINARS, not US$ which would again help our economy recover thus pulling out of Saudi. This way we could buy oil, pay off our debt without having to print more US$ and that would help our deficit and debt BIG TIME!! A big RV is a real boon to both the US and Iraq, IF Iraq can get their act together. (Remember Bush said Iraq war would PAY for itself and this is the way.) So … when we watch the nets and it seems like people are wrong, or seem to be putting out false info, remember this situation is as fluid as water and Iraq is trying to contain a spill. So, that being said I think we have reached a boiling point in Iraq and the Iraqi politicians have a short undefined window of opportunity to form a government or we will soon see the UN take this over (like they should have months ago). Today, parliament representatives are wanting to reconvene congress next week to close the open session in order to end the political issue. If this is actually agreed upon – I would expect political leaders to be in a full on press to settle this issue. That being said. The positive news coming out this week and over the past few weeks have all been related to Chapter VII, OFAC, WTO, and even the Dinar itself. It is apparent that the United States, the United Nations, etc are all working in concert to prepare Iraq for release from Chapter VII sanctions. Weeks ago we heard Kuwait was working hard to agree with Iraq, settling border issues, oil agreements, reparations, etc. Over the past week Iraq agreed to pay $400 million in reparations to US citizens used as human shields by Saddam Hussein – this was a major step to sanction release. Furthermore this week the US Department of Treasury – OFAC removed all or part of the Iraq sanction regulations - which essentially means Iraq is no longer seen as a terrorist or military threat to the United States – another huge step to Chapter VII release. And now there is word that the Oil for Food agreement will soon be resolved at the 3rd Quarter of 2010 – one of the last IF not the last bit of sanctions still pending for Iraq. An article was released earlier this week which indicated that Iraq was ready to join the WTO soon…this was great news considering that Iraq must have a tradeable currency in order to become a member of the WTO (Word Trade Organization). Furthermore this article mentions the dinar as well…saying the committee’s main task was to reduce the difference between the USD and the IQD. Over the past 48 hours two articles was published mentioning the “Deleting the Zeroes”. However these articles were not the redundant print we have seen in the past. Actually the first article indicated that this deleting of the zeroes would not take place until a government is formed. The second article was an interview with an Iraqi professor in which he suggested that by deleting the zeroes on the Iraqi currency the economy would improve along with the value of the Dinar! Over the next few days the UN will be having meetings discussing Iraq and assumeably release from Chapter VII. Considering these recent events involving Chapter VII sanction items and even though a PM or government has yet to form, I feel compelled to upgrade the RV-O-Meter to a high grade warning to Cash In. It is my personal opinion that the revaluation of the Iraqi Dinar is within close range..maybe tomorrow, a few days, or even a few weeks but it is close. I also realize this is Iraq we are dealing with and anything can set us back a step or two and therefore I hold my option to drop the meter if warranted. At this time and at this level on the RV-O-Meter I would suggest that you have a plan in order. Prepare for time off from work, know phone numbers and locations of banks or location of exchange, have contact information for attorneys and/or CPA’s, know account numbers, trust accounts, etc. From what I understand the exchange rate could fluctuate greatly and therefore if you have your affairs in order along with documents in hand and a simple plan – hopefully your cash in experience will be fruitful and without delay. But there was one other point being driven on that cc………IRAQ WILL FOLLOW THE SAME PATH THAT KU TOOK. Then yesterday on our cc we took you from the left side of the spectrum all the way to the right side and suggested ……..what if the rate came out high? We talked about it and repeated the drill of ……..IRAQ WILL FOLLOW THE SAME PATH THAT KU TOOK. What path did KU take? When it was introduced it came out in the middle 90’s at around 2.30/2.40 but it didn’t stay that way. Within hours it jumped dramatically into the 6+ range. That was a mistake. The IMF got involved and said you have to devalue. It took some weeks ………but they finally obeyed. Damage was done and it took almost two years to allow the KU dinar to finally adjust itself at around 3.44 in 1999. So with these seeds being planted ……..did you water them? Last night on our cc you had to really pay attention to find my message. Look Family…….let’s pretend that history repeats itself and that it learns from itself as well. A week ago I told you the odds of it coming out at a low rate were ridiculous. Yesterday I watered your seeds. The report makes a direct link between U.S. government spending -- including $642 billion on U.S. military operations there and $24 billion for training and equipping the Iraqi security forces -- and Iraq's cumulative surplus of $52.1 billion through the end of 2009. Bush invaded Iraq and decided to borrow the money for wars and slash taxes. The GAO report concludes with an understated recommendation that "Congress may wish to consider Iraq's available financial resources" when reviewing future funding requests to support the Iraqi security forces. The report notes that the Obama administration is currently requesting $2 billion in additional U.S. funding in its fiscal year 2011 budget request to support the training and equipping of Iraq's military and police. Discrepancies in Iraqi accounting led the GAO to report wide ranges in some areas. For instance, the report says that through the end of 2009 Iraq had between $15.3 billion and $32.2 billion in financial deposits held at the Central Bank of Iraq, the Development Fund for Iraq in New York, and state-owned banks in Iraq. Iraq: The awakening of an economic giant Financial Times / ME - September 15 2010 @ 17:34 PM President Barack Obama officially declared the end of US combat operations in Iraq on August 31, but the news from the country continues to be dominated by the ongoing political turmoil and violence. Iraq clearly remains a volatile country and is likely to be so for years to come. What is less obvious, however, is that beneath the unsettled surface, Iraq is an economic giant, slowly but surely awakening after a 30-year slumber. The first stirring of economic life began last year, when 12 new contracts were awarded to international oil companies to increase production in 10 of Iraq’s grossly under-exploited oil fields. Iraq’s oil reserves are the fourth largest in the world, after Saudi Arabia, Venezuela and Iran, but production today is barely 2.5m barrels a day, making Iraq at best a middle-weight on the international stage. The new contracts should bring a substantial stream of investment in the country’s neglected oil infrastructure, allowing production to rise to more than 10 mb/d by 2020 (the government’s own target is 12 mb/d by 2016). This would make Iraq one of the world’s biggest oil suppliers, with only Saudi Arabia and Russia capable of producing more. At today’s prices, Iraq’s oil revenues would rise to about $280bn a year, almost $10,000 for every man, woman and child, compared with the $70bn or so which it manages currently. Oil wealth is, of course, not always a blessing for a nation, and Iraq’s recent past is testimony to this. But the coming windfall has the potential, if properly managed, to transform Iraq into one of the wealthiest countries in the region and a heavy-weight on the international oil stage. Indeed, we calculate that by the end of the decade, the increase in oil production could quadruple gross domestic product per capita and leave Iraq with financial reserves in excess of $350bn, putting it on par with Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and the UAE today. Iraq, currently borrowing from the International Monetary Fund to make ends meet, could become one of the world’s main exporters of capital. Altruism aside, the benefits to the rest of the world of a resurgent Iraq are also great. A new and reliable source of oil is welcome to importing countries. Reconstruction presents massive opportunities, particularly for the regional construction and related sectors. A prosperous and open Iraqi economy, with its 30m-plus citizens, is a sizeable new market for goods and services offered by global and regional businesses. However, there are a number of formidable obstacles and challenges. First is security. Current levels of violence are unlikely to hinder significantly plans to increase oil production as most of the big fields lie in the relatively stable Shia south. But for the oil windfall to benefit the wider economy, improved national security is a must. The second obstacle is domestic politics. A new oil law in the pipeline raises uncertainties regarding the legal and regulatory environment for the industry. Moreover, political instability, incompetence and inertia are also threats to the delivery of crucial infrastructure to the oil industry, such as roads, electricity and water, without which international oil companies are unlikely to be able to deliver on the planned production rise. Finally comes economic policy and governance. For the wider economy and population to benefit from the country’s prospective wealth, economic policy must address the big issues of poverty, particularly in rural areas, health, education and more. Corruption must also be weeded out. So far, the authorities have done pretty well in stabilising the war-battered economy, and have made significant steps towards improving transparency and accountability. But this has been achieved with the guiding hand of the IMF and other organisations. It is unclear how governance and policy will fare when Iraq goes it alone. Will Iraq overcome these obstacles and realise its full economic potential? The uncertainty is great. But then again, so is the opportunity. He wants to be praised for EVERYTHING!!! God is soverign and in that context, if this blessing comes,it will be from HIm, by Him and because of Him........and I will praise Him!! As a devout Christian, I have never once prayed that God would allow me to be rich. I felt like this was a good investment and after prayer decided to do it. That prayer was not asking Him to get me rich but to ask Him for guidance. Now if this comes through, I will continue to praise him but I will also seek Him and His counsel on how to best handle this blessing. I for one feel that for those whom much has been given, much is demanded in return!! With all that said, it's remarkable to me that we as a country pride ourselves on tolorance except when that tolorance requires us to be tolerant of Christian values. We are more and more tolorant of homosexuality, immorality, Muslims, Budhist etc. etc. but that tolerance is removed when someone wants to evoke the name of God or Jesus....... To expect someone who is a devout Christian to not look at the possibiilty of this blessing through the eyes of that faith and then not act on that is deeply IN-Tolorant and should have no place in a free society!

Sorry Doc.....I thought it would be more clear that I was referring to the section of the post containing the so-called "interview" with Ali, not the entire post. I've always enjoyed reading Frank's cryptic diatribes, even though I think it's probably painfully obvious to most that there's absolutely no way that a new government was "secretly" elected and seated 2 months ago as Frank has insisted, and that they've been hiding from the entire world ever since because "it's none of our business." That seems so far-fetched as to not even be a remote possibility. They haven't completed a single step of a very complicated process required by their constitution to elect and seat a new government. It's far more involved than simply selecting a P.M., even if that might be the most "difficult" step. I suspect that if and when they can finally agree on "candidates" to "run" for the position of P.M., the rest of the process could move much more quickly. But the reality is that it could easily take months based on the complexity and the rules. At this point, I'm not sure these guys could agree on the position of dog catcher, let alone multiple heads of state. Only time will tell......LOTS of it so far. When it finally happens, I feel pretty certain the world will know within minutes, not months.

I have been so discouraged lately...with all the burdens of bills and debts and not being able to find work. Sometimes we forget to look to God when we go through tough times because of all the weight we carry. I believe part of the reason this investment has taken so long is because we are being set up for a huge blessing beyond what we could've asked for or thought. This is going to be the year for financial releases that are totally awsome!
