The Republicans could easily win the next election: All they would need to do is focus on Iraq, specifically President Obama's decision to withdraw and hand the country to Iran, its militias and anti-American forces.

It seems that given the anti-American nature of Iraq’s Arab population, nothing was built during America's presence in Iraq. This is simply because they either did not believe in America, did not take them seriously or hated the United States and just wanted to fool them into believing that they were listening.

Just a few days after President Obama declared that Iraq was stable and secure, a real crisis is prevailing both politically and in terms of security. The main reason for this is the very first issue that everyone in the new Iraq seems to be working on – the trust between the Shia and the Sunnis, which today amounts to zero.

The working relationship between the two has always been a problem and it seems that it will continue for some time.

It’s clear from what we’re seeing these days that US efforts to mend the relationship between the two has proven futile. Both sides tried to use the United States for their own agenda while the US thought that they were building a nation.

In listening to the Kurds as well, it seems the US hasn’t done much to create a true and sustainable relationship between the Kurds and the Arabs. It seems that its indecisiveness has sent the wrong messages to both people.

The country won’t only be an arena of conflict between the local communities, but it also runs the risk of being an arena for regional conflicts between the Shia and Sunnis, and between Iran and the USA.

As a result, the US presence seems to have created many problems for the people of Iraq and their neighbours, especially American allies. The irony is that the only countries that have better relations with the Iraqi state are those which are the enemies of the US. Those closest to Iraq today are Iran and Syria. Iraq today is practically a regional pariah.

The initial signs of the post-America Iraq are emerging. Already, the Sunni-Shia conflict is resuming between the Iraqiya and the National Alliance bloc.

Amid all of this, the Kurds need to position themselves very carefully. They need to be cautious not to slip into an Arab-Kurdish conflict.

It’s quite clear clear that the mistrust between the two groups has never changed. Since the new Iraq was born, the two have become true enemies. The last three years of Obama does not seem to have changed that.

The behavior of Iraq’s ruling parties clearly shows that the withdrawal has created a golden opportunity for them to secure their power. The Kurds as well should do whatever they want -- or can -- to shape a new reality.

Obama can’t be re-elected, and if he is it will be a fiasco. Either way, the Republicans have a good case to argue against President Obama's judgment on Iraq.

Osama was dead around 2003 from kidney failure. That lie they created to get the populations attention off the fake birth certificate. Obama and his regime did not take Osama out, you can take that to the bank. America has a host of deceivers in the whitehouse, congress, and the senate. The only man that can beat Obama is Ron Paul, and the establishment are running scared right now, because their gig is about up.

Anyone like Ron Paul who publicly states false things like, 'Bachmann hates Muslims' and 'Santorum hates gays' on public TV (Jay Leno) is extremely dangerous and out of control. Wrongly putting a big bullseye on a great Americans like them for political gain is a disgrace. Though many of his beliefs are to be commended it is obvious he would put this nation in grave danger with his naïve foreign policies and lack of common wisdom. Americans beware! Don't jump from the pot into the fire with Paul. Go RV!

I can't understand what all of you Obama Lover's are doing on this site. Why the hell are you invested in dinars? You should be standing in line at the welfare office for your Obama money. Obama did not decide to leave Iraq. He was forced to withdraw troops because Iraq would not give immunity to them any longer past Dec. 12. It was George W. Bush that set this date. Please, please read and listen to media that will inform you instead of these lies you spin. These are difficult times and we need a populace that has actually thought about and read about what is really going on. Those who watch Fox News actually are the least informed of those who watch the media. It is spin and propaganda much of the time trying to make us afraid so we will vote against our own best interest in favor of the 1% who have gained over 200% in income per year over the last 30 years. The reason our president has not been able to make much change is because people in the Congress held back that change. If you want to see the positive changes happen vote him in and a congress that supports his ideas so we no longer have this circus going on there with the Tea Party out. The government is suppose to be, Of the people, By the people, For the people, not an oligarchy, as it has become. It truly is NOT all about Obama, he just so happens to be at the top of this oligarchy and the lightning rod for all the criticism, just like Bush was. Did you not feel the country was out of control when Bush was signing things we didn't agree with? You seem to take it too personally when someone criticizes Obama. It's okay that you find reason to support him, but you can't expect that everyone else should see his "greatness" as you seem to. DinarMillionaire... I agree with quite a bit of what you said. I don't support absolutely everything the Dems or Reps or the Pres does. Fraud is accused during every election.... Whether true or false, we really never get the happy answer.

I had all sorts of complaints regarding Bush back to his days as a Texas governor and it was equally hard to support him. I could easily say that he did more harm to the country than good - whether I'm right or wrong. I still can't ignore the Iraq War (WMD) when there was evidence directing us elsewhere. Wars that put such a strain on my 15 year business and the entire country to this day.

I'm glad some major terrorist icons have been removed from this earth. I'm happy that folks that need healthcare will get it. I'm happy that young folks can stay on their parents health insurance during college years until age 25. I'm happy insurance companies cannot deny coverage. Those things, and more, will be the legacy of Obama thus far.
