The IMF announces their exchange rates tomorrow for the SDR basket that includes Iraq. maybe the rate will change.

If there was a new exchange rate wouldn't CBI's website reflect it already?

It is very unlikely that anything will happen unless it is on the 1st or the last day of the month. If you go back to the UN operational exchange rates you will find that the only time the rates have changed in the past years was on the 1st and the last day of a month except for one month. If you notice the date on the netdania site, the IQD has not changed since Dec 31st; its frozen where it last was then.

Well I just looked at forex and still no change. Where did you get this info from?

If you just look over at the right under "TIME" it shows the day and then the actual time. Its frozen on the last transaction before closing on the 31st at 12:32:59. It looks like this.....31-12:32:59; notice the others that are running have 3-**:**:**. The first number before the dash is the day.

Can someone then tell me why www.cbi.iq on the front page still states that the rate is 1170/1? That is updated for the second of January.
