CNN Reports that GOI is "falling apart"

It might help if you looked at the ACTUAL news at the end of the session today. It wobbled like a jelly with the Diva Allawi throwing a bit of a hissy fit, but was rectified at the end of the day.

The news is just such a twisted beast isn't it? :)

You nailed it, Sessi. The Green Zone is getting hit, and about time, so I think they be gettin' a certain message that rhymes with, 'kick the hissy out of Allawi if he doesn't shut 'r up and get'r done already.

We are so no longer in negotiation mode, folks.

Everyone needs to stop freaking. The GOI is Seated. Maliki is PM, Talbani is President and Talabani is Speaker. The GOI IS SEATED. Allawi got left out of the mix, which is why they are saying things are falling apart. He is throwing a temper-tantrum because he didn't get a position.

Don't freak. We're on track.

The lead story on CNN's homepage says that the government power-sharing agreement in Iraq has fallen apart. We can only hope that they are wrong. They posted the story at 4:40 PM Link to CNN story

I believe this is what happened with some walk outs earlier today which were worked out later and before the close of the meeting. I think the GOI is still ok and this story was not updated as at this point it would be next to impossible for the GOI to fall apart pretaining to Law of Oath and the Iraqi Constitution..
