REMEMBER, no one really  knows what will happen, or when. They're simply stating their opinions based on what they perceive to be happening in Iraq... So, take everything with a grain of salt ... :twothumbs: RON

Frank26   When this blessing occurs, where do you go? Do you go to a bank? Do you go to an American Bank? Should you go to Iraq and use an Iraqi bank? Can I use the kiosk at an airport? Can I use a credit union? You want to use a large bank. You want to use a bank that would help you with your wealth and management. Don't go to a mom and pop place...We have a bank of interest - [Chase Bank].  Many of you thought it was going to be Wells Fargo.  It's highly possible Wells Fargo will still play a part...We should consider Chase. We should consider a big state bank...

MarkZ  We have had so many stories lately with banks….I am getting them constantly. And yes, they are expecting rate changes soon. It’s fun to be getting all these bank stories that we never got in the past.

Jeff  Article: "The Central Bank of Iraq decides to restore the mechanism for financing Iraq's foreign trade, starting next March" ...The Central Bank of Iraq is preparing the regular banks of Iraq to start being prepared to be able to trade the dinar against foreign currencies...To trade the dinar against other foreign currencies the dinar itself must be tradable...The step of revaluing the currency is what makes it tradable against other currencies... Again, what they're telling you here is they're going to start preparing for this. They're not actually going to start doing it. They're preparing to do it March 1st...This is a step of them setting the stage before the big event.

What do we think this means? So what are they planning on doing in March that they shouldn’t already have done?

While I agree that going to a big bank is probably a good idea, I think that even the smaller bank will do a good job, just might take a little longer for the verification process.  All else should be the same.   Go to the teller, and turn your dinar in their.  They will receipt it, and send it off for verification.   After it is verified, it should be deposited to your account.  Shouldn't be too difficult.   :bravo:
