The goal for the cbi was and always has been to draw the iqd outside the bank system back in ( one could always look at removing the 3 zero notes thru many different glasses ) , and reducing the note count by bringing those notes back into the bank like what the cbi is attempting to do with the bank cards and getting the home bound iqd back ) ,  it was posted in this thread that out of the 42 million iraqis 15 million have opened new bank accounts so i guess that was meant to mean the accounts are active and the home-bound iqd is being transferred into the newly opened bank accounts i guess , given what i have learned very few people trust what corrupt governments tell them to do im thinking the average iraqi thinks the same way , would be interesting to read or know how much of the 70 percent iqd is currently still outside the iraq banking system ... one day closer

I read that most of the new bank accounts were from government employees that were required to get accounts in order to get paid. Still a step in the right direction
