yota691
The Sadrist movement demands Al-Amiri withdraw from the framework: Prevent treachery, there is no dialogue with those who threaten to kill 2022-08-01 04:51 Shafaq News/ Ahmed Al-Mutairi, head of the political body of the Sadrist movement, called on Monday, Hadi Al-Amiri, head of the "Al-Fateh" coalition, to formally withdraw from the coordination framework. Today, Monday, Hadi al-Amiri, head of the Al-Fateh Alliance, issued a new call to the Sadrist movement and the coordination framework for "restraint", warning that mass mobilization may get out of control and lead to violence. Al-Mutairi said in a statement, "I understand through your statement that you are not part of the framework, knowing that you are the pole of the mill in it and as long as you demanded for them and were not satisfied with the entry of part of them with the current in the formation of the government previously." He added, "Your speech should be for the framework and not for the movement. We are not the ones who ask for blood or sedition. Hear the speeches of your allies in the framework. Either you announce your withdrawal from them, or you are still with them in the framework of the strife they want. We and our leadership think well of you, but (killing people is half solutions) And how do you ask us to have a dialogue with someone who threatens a national leader, a political leader, a master, a descendant, and an heir to Al-Sadr’s approach? How do you accept that we engage in dialogue with someone who threatens to kill him? The statement continued, "All of you, without exception, know that Mr. Al-Maliki spoke this speech over and over again, and we are certain that it was not fabricated. His Eminence, Muqtada Al-Sadr, asked you to condemn this leak, but you did not condemn it and did not respect the sanctity of God in the rest of Al-Sadr." Al-Mutairi said, "Oh, the good Beloved: We need actions, not words, so order, do, and prevent the manifestation of treachery - the era - for they sought in it sedition and sedition is more severe than killing if they knew." In response to Al-Amiri's words, Al-Sadr Minister Saleh Muhammad Al-Iraqi set, on Monday, 3 conditions for accepting the invitation of the head of the Al-Fateh Alliance Hadi Al-Amiri for dialogue between the Sadrist movement and the coordination framework. Al-Iraqi said in a tweet seen by Shafak News Agency, "The brother Al-Amiri's call for dialogue between the framework (to which he belongs) and the Sadrist movement, which he abandoned, is repeated. Spyder Man) which he stated in the leaks a few days ago. He added, "You were among the signatories to a reform document... it was not implemented... who is the guarantor of the implementation of reform dialogue?! 1 1

6ly410
SADRIST MOVEMENT CALLS FOR HADI AL-AMIRI TO STEP DOWN FROM COORDINATION FRAMEWORK PM:06:09:01/08/2022 SULAIMANI — Salih Mohammed, known as the minister of Muqtada al-Sadr, on Monday (August 1) called for the leader of the Fatah Alliance, Hadi al-Amiri, and his coalition to withdraw from the Coordination Framework in response to Amiri’s call for dialogue amid the political crisis in Baghdad. Mohammed responded via Twitter, stating the Sadrist Movement would accept the call for negotiation if Amiri and the Fatah Alliance withdrew and if he condemned statements allegedly made by the leader of the State of Law Coalition, Nouri al-Maliki, which were leaked in audio recordings last month. Amiri on Monday called for leaders of the Sadrist Movement and its rival bloc, the Coordination Framework, to reach a solution to the political crisis through dialogue and expressed his concern over the escalation of tension in Baghdad and calls for mass mobilization. Mohammed in his Twitter statement accused Amiri of being among members of government who failed to carry out a reform agreement he had signed. The Coordination Framework had earlier still responded to Amiri’s call for dialogue. The framework on Sunday asked its supporters to protest in Baghdad the following day against the demonstrations carried out over the last two days by Sadr’s supporters, who have broken into the Green Zone and occupied the parliament building. 6ly410
Iraqi security forces on high alert in Baghdad AFP August 1, 2022 Iraqi security forces on high alert in Baghdad - Iraqi News 2 min Supporters of Iraqi cleric Moqtada Sadr take part in a mourning ritual amid the Shiite Muslim Ashura commemoration period as they occupy Iraq’s parliament Baghdad – Iraqi security forces were on high alert in Baghdad on Monday as tensions soared after rivals of Shiite Muslim cleric Moqtada Sadr, whose supporters are occupying the parliament, called for counter-demonstrations. A political standoff 10 months after Iraqis went to the polls pits Sadr — a populist with a devoted following of millions among the country’s majority Shiite population — against the powerful pro-Iran Coordination Framework, another Shiite alliance. Sadr’s supporters have been occupying parliament in the normally high-security Green Zone — also home to government buildings and embassies — since Saturday. They started their protest in response to the rival alliance’s prime ministerial nomination. Large numbers of security forces set up roadblocks and checkpoints, ahead of calls by supporters of the Coordination Framework slated to start around 5:00 pm local time (1400 GMT). The protests are “not directed against any particular group”, the supporters said on social media. The protest is expected to take place on a road leading to the Green Zone, not far from where thousands of Sadr supporters were still bedded down at the parliament, waving flags and pictures of Sadr. A Sadr loyalist has also called on supporters of the cleric to protest across Iraq’s provinces, in demonstrations to take place at the same time. The Coordination Framework includes lawmakers from the party of Sadr’s longtime foe, ex-prime minister Nuri al-Maliki. It also represents the powerful pro-Iran former paramilitary alliance Hashed al-Shaabi, now integrated into the regular forces. Hadi al-Ameri, who heads a faction of the Hashed al-Shaabi, repeated a call on Monday for “constructive dialogue enabling solutions to be found to points of contention”. He warned against “an atmosphere of media escalation, sparked by statements and counter-statements calling for mass mobilisations that could get out of control and lead to violence”. In multi-confessional and multi-ethnic Iraq, government formation has involved complex negotiations since a 2003 US-led invasion toppled dictator Saddam Hussein, but in this case 10 month of political deadlock have left the country without a government, a new prime minister or a new president. Sadr’s massive mobilisation of supporters in recent weeks has underscored the political clout of the firebrand preacher, who once led a militia against American and Iraqi government forces.
