The leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, set a condition for adhering to health prevention measures for the continuation of Friday prayers, warning those in charge of prayer to adhere to the recommendations to avoid the current outbreak of the Corona virus.

A statement issued by Al-Sadr’s office – published by Saleh Muhammad Al-Iraqi, nicknamed “Minister Al-Sadr” via his Twitter account, said: “According to my follow-up to Friday prayers in our beloved Iraq, there is no preventive and sanitary obligation in terms of spacing, dusting, masks, etc. We have directed this over and over again and stressed this in order to preserve your safety and your reputation.”

Al-Sadr’s statement added: “I find that it is in our interest to follow the next Friday prayer, and if it is in accordance with our directives and in accordance with health frameworks and health commitment, we will turn a blind eye to that and “the prayer continues, otherwise the last Friday prayer will be held until further notice.”

The statement confirmed that this came after warnings from specialists about the spread of the epidemic and an increase in infections, calling on the supervisors of Friday prayers to follow up on this and see the details.

He added that he warns worshipers and imams against implementing the directives by adhering to safety procedures.

Too too right... so much aggravation, verbal diarrhea, kicking the can(s) down the road. Such a despicable, duplicitous & devious bunch. 
 

They even take talking    To a whole new level. Can’t help but feel disgusted with these fools. Certainly has been educational these past 18 + years. 
 

Nothing but dysfunctional governments ( globally ) +

our own Administrations ( I’m 66 now ), we’re not so much “ living “ as doing our best to survive at the hands of criminal politicians. 
 

Seeing how things unfolded in our last election, just shows me First/my vote doesn’t count/2nd-the global subjugation of its “ citizens “ is well underway.
