Al-Attar said in a statement received by Mawazine News that "the demand for public-private partnership is increasing due to insufficient government investment, as well as the increasing demand for infrastructure projects due to the steady increase in population." 
Al-Attar pointed out that "investment in the public sector infrastructure is an important way to maintain economic activity, as a result of the great role played by the partnership between the public and private sectors in the development of public sector infrastructure."
He added, `` The process of economic and social development depends on combining the role of the state with the role of the private sector in construction and development and on mobilizing and gathering the potential of all society, including the energies, resources and expertise of both the public and private sectors to participate in institutional organizations that undertake the establishment and operation of various types of projects.
