Trump Wins Electoral College Vote As Insurgency Fizzles !

Saw a news program the other day interviewing college kids in CA, things like...who is the VP, who won the civil war, etc., they could not answer one question, either did not know, or guessed the wrong answer. Funny, when ask who sang a certain song, or what person was married to whom in the Hollywood arena they could answer it right a way.....what in the world are they teaching in college in CA?

Yup it is a sad state of affairs... The dumbing down of America seems to be working. Just look at recent headlines...

I don't see us breaking away.  Too valuable to the Republic.  Maybe someday CA might break into several smaller states but not for a long long time.  We're pretty isolated here in So Cal.  Not much input from the Feds because we're on the other side of the country.  No much help from Sacramento because we are as far away from our capitol as you can get.  But we do Ok.

And at Christmas, hacked the holly out of the trees in Elsinore and sold it in town to pay our Bar Tabs !

You are 100% correct. Even the bank teller or the clerk at the checkout register can't make an independent decision. Free thinking is quickly becoming a thing of the past.
