darwinatridge
Good Grief!! I knew it was bad but not this bad. We're toast!! Here is the problem. Hillarious is as bad as it gets in the democratic party. She is as crocked as they come. But there are idiots who don't care about that. As long as she promises them the moon they will vote for her because, for no other reason, she is a liberal. Notice I said promises. She does not have to keep those promises because she will not. Yet they will still vote for her. That tells you the state of this country.

Jim1cor13
Every single one of these politicians will tell one what they want to hear, in exchange for a vote. It really does not go any deeper than that. Perhaps, instead of looking for a 'hero' that will make a lot of noise for their audience...and promises that are rarely kept, it is time to look for a person who will uphold the constitution, commit to dismantling the laws and methods that have taken away true liberty, and is willing to put their careers on the line in order to be held accountable for their actions. Who should hold them accountable? Voters? Their supporters? Indeed...and the ability of these supporters must have the means to remove any politician who has proven to lie and undermine the country they swore to serve. This cannot happen within the current protective political system, so as long as this sytem continues in its present form, not a single one of these folks can truly "undo" previous damage. Each one of these posers knows this, and yet they will stand and tell the same stories that their predecessors have told, make the same promises, and at some point become impotent due to the way things work. What is the answer? No more professional posers. That would be the first step. That would clean out the majority from both parties, and would at least open a door for those who are capable, and trustworthy. Next step would be to STOP the insane amount of capital needed to run and prove one self as a legitimate candidate. This can only stop when the current protective system is rendered null and void. I do not see that happening, and so we will continue to get the only product and fruit that the current corrupt system offers. Is it hopeless? No. Problem is most folks stick with their party 'line' and believe what they are told by their 'hero', and then pay little attention to the actions of the one they voted for. Until WE all change our direction, Washington will continue to create the path they want us to take. THIS is NOT an option any longer in my opinion and this should be self evident. softwalker
Don't worry. The only one in the running is another Bush. They will pretend we have a choice and then it will "magically" narrow down to a Bush/Clinton race again... softwalker
My fears too, Sarges Gals! Unless of course they find another imposter stand-in who will pretend to offer us "change" but who will in reality be their new "front". They will keep doing this as long as we allow them to manipulate the voting counts. And convince us it's what we want when they manipulate the polls. And then why not manipulate the convention while they are at it. All they need is a media willing to present their storyline and our country buys it. Hook, line and sinker.
TPSprayduster
This is starting to look like 2008 all over again, all i am hearing is about Clinton this and Clinton that. Nothing about the issues but digging up dirt and nothing but dirt. I guess the conservatives did not learn from the last 2 elections. Now you see they have nothing in the playbook to counter Clinton. She will be elected in 2016 because there will more division in the party.
Nelg
In truth, I wish the entire lot of them the best . . . but not in the presidential race. For the next two years we are in for a constant bombardment of promises that will never be kept, lies that they expect us to believe, and constant destructive insinuations calculated to cut the legs off any rival politically, Sadder still is that we will not think they have any strength unless they fight and fuss like cats and dogs. It's part of our "entertainment" and we love it. I posted this in another thread, but it seemed appropriate for this one. As long as we have competing political parties that destroy their competition, reject as asinine any suggestion or relevant move the other party makes, we will remain in the land of disharmony and stagnation. Don't get me wrong. We need competent, logical, and dedicate contrarians in order to "get the facts straight," push for the truth of a thing, and then the strength of character to cull false ideas and make good decisions base upon Character, Constitutional authority and mandates, Consider the welfare of the populous, and a Conscious willing to do what is RIGHT above all else. Party affiliation and loyalty must be relegated to a place subservient to the welfare of the country and the will of the people. Decision based on party affiliation, cronyism, contributions given to propagate an agenda, and other like "hand-outs" for supporting a position need to be challenged and NOT taken into consideration. When that starts happening, then we might be suppressed at the number of real leaders with character rise to the top. Who are they? Don't know. I haven't seen one yet. Anything else and your just kidding yourself. This rabbit hole made of lies and deceit and corruption goes far to deep for a simple election to fix. Does not matter who wins in 2016 were screwed. Although if Hillarious wins we will get screwed much faster harder and longer. Edited April 13, 2015 by dog53
