I don't think its up to him at this point.  I believe Maliki's influence has been diminished to the point of a non-factor.   However I am encouraged by the comments from the SOL MP being on board.  They usually fight everything that needs to get done.  But as always time will tell.  I would not be surprised if Maliki doesn't have one more trick to play yet.
