Luigi1
MAN I HOPE SO Keep in mind, this only alows Iraqis access to send IQD to 180 countries through e-money transfers and Swift Codes makes the IQD legit. This does not mean a RV but puts us one step closer. IMO. Edited June 10, 2014 by Luigi1 6
DinarThug
Here Is The Entire Chat From 'SpecialEdGibbs' Who Posts On The Pumper Site I4U ... [specialAgentGibbs] I'm surprised no one is discussing the swift announcements[specialAgentGibbs] It was posted here this morning I think[scotzgirl] SpecialAgentGibbs xyz brought it in earlier today..[EHS73Grad] heard earlier today, was happening in Mexico...any validity? Lines out the door over weekendSpecialAgentGibbs] EHS73Grad I do not believe that it can happen in any one country but, that's just me[EHS73Grad] SpecialAgentGibbs that has always been my thoughts as well...as this is international...not just 1 or a few.... [specialAgentGibbs] EHS73Grad They cannot have one country with the ability to just run out & buy boatloads of dinar[specialAgentGibbs] For them to say they are releasing their banks & dealers to trade currencies would indeed infer international status[EHS73Grad] SpecialAgentGibbs true..."them" can not pick and choose who goes and who doesn't get to trade currencies?[specialAgentGibbs] [xyz] To / banks authorized to exercise all banking (SWIFT message) 09/06/2014 To / banks authorized to exercise all banking - to / money transfer companies approved all (Department of window buying and selling of foreign currency) 09/06/2014 To / banks authorized to exercise all banking - to / money transfer companies approved all - to / broker companies buying and selling of foreign currency all (Instructions buying and selling of foreign currency) 09/06/2014 .....[musiccitylady] SpecialAgentGibbs but where did that actually come from?[specialAgentGibbs] http://tinyurl.com/moca9bq[EHS73Grad] SpecialAgentGibbs haven't been thru a ramaden, does that make a difference with this to 'happen' before, not during, or after??[terrib] EHS73Grad ramadan makes no difference[EHS73Grad] terrib thank you, that's what I have thought, and just looking for confirmation[EHS73Grad] SpecialAgentGibbs IYHO do you believe the banks are or are not ready for us[specialAgentGibbs] EHS73Grad IMHO, no different than any average Friday "cash your paycheck" scenario[EHS73Grad] SpecialAgentGibbs so all those scare tactics out there about taking someone with you for protection, us ordinary working people, that sounds kinda scary, treat as rumors, too[specialAgentGibbs] EHS73Grad apples & oranges[EHS73Grad] SpecialAgentGibbs hmmm.. ok, TY[specialAgentGibbs] To / banks authorized to exercise all banking (SWIFT message) 09/06/2014 To / banks authorized to exercise all banking - to / money transfer companies approved all (Department of window buying and selling of foreign currency) 09/06/2014 To / banks authorized to exercise all banking - to / money transfer companies approved all - to / broker companies buying and selling of foreign currency all (Instructions buying and selling of foreign currency) 09/06/2014 .....[specialAgentGibbs] Nothing to do with swift codes[ChildOfGod] SpecialAgentGibbs Oh, my bad! It was just a message and they are only talking about currency[specialAgentGibbs] ChildOfGod To me, more the authorization do allow currency dealings[ChildOfGod] SpecialAgentGibbs Yes, I agree. But its only at the level of countries. But a step in the right direction.[specialAgentGibbs] ChildOfGod I see nothing that dictates at what level[ChildOfGod] SpecialAgentGibbs Oh! So then it means everyone! My view needs to be broader lol [specialAgentGibbs] ChildOfGod All I get from it is that they are allowing currencies (all) transactions by banks, traders, and brokers[specialAgentGibbs] ChildOfGod Which of course infers that they have or soon will have an internationally tradable currency themselves

dontlop
Special ed cracked me up this morning I got a good laugh , I could hardly read the post after that Thanks thug I have dropped citi group world link a short to the point email asking them to help us out with our dinar situation Asking them to see if they could accept our dinar during any exchange period Citi World link already deals in Iraqi dinar and has been since 2006 And since they now have a Baghdad office why not ask http://www.citibank.com/transactionservices/home/worldlink/ IRAQI DINAR WorldLink® Payment Services has been making IQD payments on behalf of selected clients since 2006 adding to the exotic currencies suite. With the success established over five years, WorldLink has differentiated itself by having local expertise and strong banking relationships in Iraq. WorldLink is now offering IQD payments as a fully developed and proven offering to all relevant WorldLink clients. While the US Dollar remains a widely accepted currency in Iraq, Citi’s cross-border payments specialists anticipate that IQD payments will gain an increasing foothold in support of foreign direct investments. Here's this link http://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20110921005243/en/Citi’s-Worldlink®-Payment-Services-Stays-Curve-Exotic#.U5bvqHm9LCQ If ya just go to the contact us On citi world link web site And ask it might help if others ask too Now please Don't call every day bothering them asking them questions about a rv Just a short to the point email to ask for help during any type of exchange I believe if everyone started calling them every day bothering them with rv questions they would be turned off like Wells Fargo Please don't pester them 3

dontlop
A pilot program to connect Iraq's ATMs to a national, interbank switch is set to begin this summer Read more: http://dinarvets.com/forums/index.php?/topic/179683-good-one-here-banking-on-the-future-of-iraq/#ixzz34FVq24jk The interbank market is the top-level foreign exchange market where banks exchange different currencies.[1] The banks can either deal with one another directly, or through electronic brokering platforms. The Electronic Broking Services (EBS) and Thomson Reuters Dealing are the two competitors in the electronic brokering platform business and together connect over 1000 banks.[1] The currencies of most developed countries have floating exchange rates. dontlop
I don't smell a rv I do know they want to trade with their own currency eventually In my opinion from what I've read that is An international currency has to be backed by a international soveriegn credit rating Look for that , that's what I'm waiting for From the three big ones standard and poor Fitch And Moody's The bis the world bank and the IMF as well as the world are waiting for that before most country's will accept it Iraq is waiting for it They take time to establish Nothing else Just time The better they pay their debts on time the better the rating There's other factors of course Debt to GDP ratio External debt Trade balance All are looking very good for iraq They could rv before going international If they go international they should rv first Or they would have to depend on supply and demand and a float That could take time They could come out with a bounty rate first Or they could do the other thing Its a wait and see thing India is already wanting to trade in local currency's They evidently trust Iraq India is 1/6th of the world population Over a billion people I'm just thinking out loud here

mr john
Swift codes? LOL. I was in the states in January and it took Chase Bank and 3 managers to figure out how to send money to Thailand. It also wasn't released for 2 days. Swift codes have nothing to do with exchange rates, just a way to money slowly.
ReinMan
I remember a few years back some "guru" posted that everything was done but there was a problem with the swift codes. It was a grabbing at straws excuse. Swift codes are part of the picture as an automatic installment, not a hinderance. They shouldn't even be metntioned at all.
